Vietnam faces a significant plastic pollution problem driven by economic growth and inadequate waste management, resulting in pollution of waterways and oceans. To address this, the government must enforce stricter regulations on plastics, including a ban on single-use items and promoting biodegradable alternatives. Investment in recycling facilities and enhanced waste collection is also essential. Simultaneously, comprehensive public awareness campaigns are crucial to educate citizens on responsible consumption and proper waste disposal. By implementing these combined strategies, Vietnam can mitigate plastic pollution, protect its environment, and strive for a more sustainable future

One invention that has significantly made my life easier is the smartphone. It serves as an all-in-one device, combining communication, entertainment, productivity, and information access in one compact tool. With a smartphone, I can stay connected with friends and family through calls, texts, or social media, no matter where I am. It allows me to access the internet, read news, and use educational apps to expand my knowledge. The camera helps capture memories, while various apps enable me to stay organized and manage my time effectively. Additionally, the smartphone has made online shopping and banking more convenient, saving me time and effort. Overall, the smartphone has become indispensable, simplifying daily tasks and enhancing both my personal and professional life in ways that were unimaginable just a few decades ago.

I propose the project “Green Spaces for a Healthier Community,” aiming to turn unused land into parks and community gardens.

Our neighborhood lacks green areas, limiting recreational spaces and worsening environmental issues. This project will provide safe spaces for exercise, relaxation, and social interaction while promoting sustainable practices through community gardening.

Green spaces not only improve health and well-being but also reduce pollution and strengthen community bonds. With volunteer support, we can create a greener, healthier, and more connected neighborhood.

Thank you for considering this idea!

Sincerely,
Kieu Oanh

Education is crucial for girls as it empowers them to create a brighter future for themselves and their communities. By receiving an education, girls gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue careers, contribute to the economy, and improve their overall quality of life. Educated girls are more likely to make informed decisions about their health, family, and finances, leading to greater personal independence. Furthermore, when girls are educated, they can inspire and uplift others in their communities. They can become role models, mentors, and leaders who advocate for positive change, whether in health care, social justice, or environmental sustainability. Educated girls often help reduce poverty by improving household incomes and breaking the cycle of illiteracy. In this way, the benefits of girls' education extend far beyond the individual, fostering progress and growth for entire communities and societies.
