Hello, everyone! I’m glad to introduce my family. There are four people, including Mom, Dad, one brother and me. My mother’s name is Mai, and she is 50 years old. She is a beautiful woman with long black hair. My father’s name is Truong, and he is 55 years old. And my brother is Duy. He is 17 years old, and now he is a student of Minh Khai High School. Let me tell you about my family. I live with my mum, my dad and my big sister. We live in Ho Chi Minh city. My mum's name is Linh. She's short and slim, she's got long, black hair and brown eyes. She's a teacher. My dad's name is Nam. He's tall and a little fat! He's got short brown hair and blue eyes. He works in a bank. My sister Huyen is 14 and she loves listening to music. She listens to music all the time! She's got long brown hair and greeen eyes, me. I've got long hair too. We've got a pet dog, Kiki. He's black and wwhite and very friendly. I love my family very much.

Today is Sunday. I am doing my homework. My father is cleaning the floor. My mother is cooking in the kitchen. My grandma is reading a book about Uncle Ho. And my younger sister is playing toys. Now my puppy is sleeping beside me, and I should keep quiet so she can sleep peacefully. Today is such a happy day.

I’ve always been proud to be born into my family. One of the things I am most proud of is the carpentry tradition. My family has been a carpenter for three generations. Also, since childhood, I have seen many beautiful wooden products. To be able to create those products, it must go through many different steps. First, my dad will choose the type of wood and their size. After that, my dad will measure and cut the pieces of the wood to match. Next my dad will shape the wooden pieces. Once the wood pieces are finished, my dad will paint them with beautiful colors. I love watching my dad work. When I was growing up I wanted to continue the work my dad was doing. From there, many beautiful and useful wooden products can be created.

Hi everyone, my name is Phuong. I will introduce my family to you. Our family has 4 people including my father, my mother, my younger brother and me. My father is an engineer at a construction site near my home. My father is very busy. He usually had to stand outside all day. So he has a tanned skin. However, one day he still spends time playing with me. My mother is a good housewife. Every day I can eat delicious dishes that I cook. Mother takes care of her family very well. Before I go to bed, my mother usually reads me a story. My brother is 10 years old this year. Very good boy. I often play with him in my free time so my mom can do other things. I love my family very much.

As a traditional Vietnam family, I have a big family. My family has 6 members including my mum, my dad, my grandmother, my big brother, little sister and me. My mum's name is Lan. She's got short, black hair and brown eyes. She and my dad work in business of medicine. My dad's name is Phong. He's short. He's got black short hair. My little sister's slim. She's quit beautiful. She's got black long hair. My big brother's short my dad. 20 years before, Vietnam was a poor country. Paying for cost of living of family with 3 little children comes to be a difficult problem, My mum and my dad have worked hard day by day, even my 60-year-old grandmother also had to buy foods to help apart. You know that's a difficult time, but now we grown up and my family's financial problems were improved. Thank life for everything.

There are four people in my family: my parents, my younger sister and I. My father is a 45-year-old engineer. He spends most of his time in the building sites. That’s why he has a tanned skin. As soon as he comes home, he turns on the television to watch the news, relaxes for a while and then he takes a shower. In case my mother doesn’t cook for the dinner yet, my father is very happy to join hand and help her. Talk about my mother, she is a 40-year-old primary school teacher. In every morning, she is the one who wakes up earliest to prepare the breakfast, clothes and necessary things for my father, me and my sister. After we leave home to work or study, my mother will have a quick breakfast and drive to the primary school. After school, she runs fast to the market, buys some fresh food and backs to home to cook lunch. My father doesn’t come home in the noon so only three of us eat and talk to each other during lunch. However, the lunch is still prepared very scrupulous. In general, my mother is a gentel caring woman and sometimes she is very strict. I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old in the next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard study. On every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule is changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time to my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chorces and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happiness moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I understand that there is nothing that is more important than my family. I love my parents and my lovely sister so much.

Sau khi tan trường mẹ tôi chạy thật nhanh đến chợ mua những thực phẩm tươi rồi về nhà nấu bữa trưa. Bố tôi không về nhà vào buổi trưa nên chỉ có ba mẹ con chúng tôi ăn uống và nói chuyện suốt bữa trưa. Dù vậy, bữa cơm vẫn được chuẩn bị rất chu đáo. Nói chung, mẹ tôi là một phụ nữ hiền lành đảm đang và đôi khi rất nghiêm khắc. Tôi có một em gái sẽ tròn 8 tuổi vào tháng 11 tới. Nó rất dễ thương, ngoan ngoãn và chăm chỉ học tập. Vào mỗi dịp cuối tuần tôi hay dẫn em đến công viên giải trí và đi ăn những cây kem tươi ngon. Chúng tôi khá thân thiết nhưng đôi khi nó làm tôi phát cáu bởi vì thói quen cẩu thả của mình. Người cuối cùng trong gia đình tôi chính là tôi. Tôi đang học năm thứ hai ngành Quản Trị Kinh Doanh tại đại học Hồng Bàng. Lịch học của tôi thường xuyên thay đổi và tôi đang cố để giành được học bổng du học Canada trong năm tới nên tôi không dành nhiều thời gian cho gia đình. Nhưng bất kì khi nào rảnh tôi luôn phụ mẹ công việc nhà và chăm sóc em gái. Trong gia đình tôi mỗi người đều có một trách nhiệm riêng nhưng chúng tôi luôn sát cánh bên nhau để tận hưởng những giây phút hạnh phúc, vượt qua thời gian khó khăn và cùng giải quyết vấn đề. Tôi hiểu rằng không có điều gì quan trọng hơn gia đình. Tôi yêu bố mẹ và cô em gái dễ thương rất nhiều.

There are 6 people in my family. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the second oldest of my brothers and sister. My Dad goes to work everyday from 8 am to 8 pm. His job is to communicate with Vietnamese people. My mom doesn’t work outside the home. She stays home and takes care of the house. She also raises the kids and cooks everyday. My oldest brother is 23 years old. He doesn’t work or go to school. He just stays home and only does the things he wants to do. He also spends a lot of money that dad earns. My younger brother is just the opposite. He is 18 years old. Everyday he goes to school and sometimes he goes to work. He also helps my parents when he has free time. He had diploma from high school and now he is enrolled in the University. My parents are proud of him very much. Finally is my sister is 11 years old and a cute girl. She is in the fifth grade. I think she is a very smart girl. I love her and my parents very much.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.

No one can deny the benefits of Internet. Information resources are probably the biggest advantage that Internet offers to people. Internet is a wonderful source of information. All kind of information on any topic is available on the Internet at anytime. I love searching things on Google. It’s a very useful tool from the Internet, we can know everything with just one mouse click.
Becoming knowledgeable is also a great benefit of using Internet. I spend a lot of time on the Internet for reading news. All latest news is continuously up-to-date on the Internet on various news sites. I often visit E-newspaper websites to read hot daily news. I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime.
In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.

My hobby is doing shopping, and I think it is a little bit costly. I do not have enough time and money to serve my love for shopping, so I can only spend my weekend wandering at the malls. I looking around the stores and their variety kinds of goods. There are so many colorful things that catch my eyes, such as clothes, shoes, accessories, toys, and other stuffs. Usually I do not by a lot of things; I just remember their brand names and then wait for them to be put on the sale-off section. I have a huge amount of flyers about promoting program at many different malls and stores. It is my other little hobby to collect them, and maybe someday I can have an exhibition about my flyer collection. I have a friend that shares the same love with shopping, and we usually spend our weekend together lingering to look at the stores. My family and friends also ask me to by stuffs for them, because they know I can choose the good ones with reasonable price. I enjoy shopping a lot, and sometimes I am glad that I can help other people with my little hobby.

We are a poor family . There are altogether nine members in my family , including my father andmy mother . The children are seven in all , four boys and three girls .
My father is a hawker selling fruits in the streets of Singapore and my mother is awasherwoman . My father earns about 25 dollars a day and my mother is getting about fiftydollars a month . Though poor , ours is a happy family . My parents seldom quarrel and they arethrifty .
All my brothers and sisters are studying in English schools . My eldest brother Ronnie isstudying in secondary four in a government school . He says that he will pass this year , with four good credits at least .
On school days my brother goes to school by bus and we children are in a nearby primary schoolnot very far from our home .
During the week-end my eldest brother helps us with our studies .
