Making a mistake is a part of our life. So, if we don’t make mistakes, we’d never learn new things. The important thing is that everyone makes mistakes. But some people handle it very wisely and learn something useful from it, on the other hand, some people get angry and spoil everything, so it depends upon a person how he or she manages it.
So, according to my perception, mistakes are good but to some extent. Here I would like to talk about an error which I made.
Last year one of my friends arrange a party at Diwali festival for all my friends. I felt thrilled and excited because due to the busy schedule, my friends and I did not have time to meet each other, so it was the best time for all of us. My friend arranged a party at home with the help of his family, and he also requested all of us to reached on time for assistance. My house is located about the distance of one hour, so I arrived at his home first, he hands over the kitchen duty to me. My work was to check the food and complete the requirements of chefs. One of the chefs requested me to take care of the dessert, which he was preparing for fifteen minutes because he has to go out of the house for urgent work. I said yes and took over his seat for a few minutes but unfortunately, I forget about the dish because of playing the game on the phone, and the whole dessert burnt.
I got tensed what I did and now how I manage it because my all friends arrived at the home and the party was going to start. The chef came back after few minutes I apologized from him. I felt despondent because I spoil the whole dish. He was a lovely person, in spite to get angry he handled the situation very wisely and prepared another sweet meal I also helped him by arranging the ingredients from the market. So that was the time when I made a mistake.
We can learn many new things from our mistakes. Firstly, after making mistakes, we realize that not to repeat the same thing. Errors put pressure on a person’s mind, and he/she thinks more about new and better ways through which he could complete his work.

Two students were asked about their hobbies and here is what they said.
Lien: Cooking is my favorite hobby. My grandmother taught me how to cook my first dish when I was 8. My family enjoyed it so much so that is when I started this hobby. Some people say cooking is a waste of time but I find this hobby very interesting and meaningful. I really love trying new food and cooking for my family. The feeling of making my family happy with my food is amazing. I often collect recipes from my mother and my grandmother. Sometimes I also get recipes from the internet. Then I write them in a notebook. I hope I will become a good chef and have my own cookery book in the future.
Cuong: I have an unusual hobby: carving eggshells. I started this hobby four years ago after getting a carved egg from my dad when he came back from Japan. It's amazing that something as fragile as an empty eggshell can be made into such a beautiful piece of art. I was so amazed that I learned how to carve them myself from the internet. I find carving eggshells a little difficult but so interesting and useful. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece is absolutely awesome. This hobby also helps me be more patient and careful.

Jane lay awake. She had been preparing for the next day for a long time and now she couldn't sleep. Her team was playing the local champions at water polo in the final and Jane was the captain. She was feeling the pressure.
She turned over and remembered how she had learned to swim. Her father had taught her. They would go to the local pool every day after school and her father used to show her what to do. She hadn't liked the water at first, but she soon got used to it. She learned quickly and joined the water polo team. She had been their youngest member!
She quickly got used to scoring goals and being under pressure, but tomorrow was different. It was the biggest match of her life. She closed her eyes again and tried to get to sleep. "I never used to have problems sleeping", she thought to herself. "But then again, I didn't use to be the captain of the team". She watched the lock change slowly and knew that it was going to be a long night.

Well, I wasn’t worried when my son bought a computer. After all lots of children have parents (62) ___the__don’t understand computers. If you are a Vietnamese then it’s a pity when you haven’t been to Halong Bay once in your life. Last year I went on a trip to Ha Long with my family. To make the trip more interesting, my dad drove a family car himself to bring everyone here. It was a beautiful day. The blue sky and white clouds made me even more nervous. We sat in the car and sang songs together. Half a day, we arrived. We rent a room at Muong Thanh hotel. This is a 5 star hotel so the service is extremely good. The staff here welcomed us very enthusiasally. We rent two rooms. A room for my parents and a room for me and my brother. Our room has full TV, air conditioner, refrigerator, … very comfortable. After checking in, we went out to enjoy a bit of the sea breeze. The air here is very fresh and cool. We rented a tram to take a tour of the place. Ha Long’s scenery made us all in awe. Looking back from a distance, Ha Long is a majes picture. There are many islands and caves here. There are Dau Go cave, Thien Cung cave, Trong Mai island … and rich vegetation. Together we watched the long sand beaches and ships peeked out in the distance. We passed the shops that were sparkling with lights. When we were tired, we returned to the hotel for dinner and rest to prepare for the next day with exciting experiences. The next morning I got up early to catch the dawn. Today my brother and I had fun at the water park playing adventure. My trip to Ha Long was very fun and enjoyable. We have a lot of commemorative photos here. I will be back here this summer.
