I want to provide food, clothes and blankets for street children. I want to do it because I want to share the things I have with children who are in need. I hope no child will be hungry and cold. I will cook food and bring it to street children on the weekends. I will also encourage my friends to donate clothes and blankets to them.

In addition, by participating in community service, children and teenagers are introduced to good values and morals. Values such as humbleness, gratefulness, honesty, sincerity and respect are among the important virtues that one can acquire from helping the community. The importance of community service eventually relies on how the provider perceives it. These programs are intended to inculcate a sense of community and civic engagement in people. The more hours people spend doing community work, the more the service will help them in realizing their educational, social and developmental goals.

There are a lot of volunteer activities in Des Moines. One of my favorites is Meals from the Heartland. Meals from the Heartland allows volunteers to pack meals for the needy. Each shift is only 2 hours long. However, I always want to stay longer because it's fun to help people. These meals then will be shipped out to the needy ones in the city, in different states, and around the world. Meals from the Heartland is one of many fun and helpful volunteer activities in Des Moines.

Sa Pa nằm sát chí tuyến trong vành đai Á nhiệt đới Bắc bán cầu, có khí hậu ôn đới lạnh với hai mùa điển hình. Mùa hè mát mẻ, mưa nhiều từ tháng 5 đến tháng 10 hàng năm, mùa đông lạnh giá, ít mưa kéo dài từ tháng 11 năm trước đến tháng 4 năm sau .
Do ảnh hưởng của các yếu tố địa hình, địa mạo phức tạp, bị chia cắt mạnh và với vị trí địa lý đặc biệt nên khí hậu Sa Pa có các đặc trưng cơ bản sau:
- Nhiệt độ:
+ Nhiệt độ trung bình hàng năm là 15,40C,; nhiệt độ trung bình từ 18 - 200C vào tháng mùa hè, vào các tháng mùa đông 10 - 120C.
+ Nhiệt độ tối cao tuyệt đối 330C vào tháng 4, ở các vùng thấp.
+ Nhiệt độ xuống thấp nhất vào tháng 1 là 00C (có những năm xuống tới âm 3,20C).
+ Tuy nhiên do đặc điểm địa hình của các khu vực khác nhau nên tạo ra các vùng sinh thái khác nhau và có nhiệt độ khác nhau trong cùng một thời điểm.
- Nắng:
+ Tổng số giờ nắng trung bình hàng năm biến động trong khoảng 1.400 - 1.460 giờ.
+ Số ngày nắng không đều giữa các tháng, mùa hè số giờ nắng nhiều, tháng 4 hàng năm từ 180 - 200 giờ, tháng 10 số giờ nắng ít nhất, khoảng 30 - 40 giờ.
- Độ ẩm:
+ Độ ẩm không khí tương đối bình quân hàng năm từ 85 - 90 %.
+ Do sương mù nhiều, càng lên cao càng dày đặc, đặc biệt trong những thung lũng kín và khuất gió khí hậu ẩm ướt hơn các khu vực khác.
- Lượng mưa:
+ Tổng lượng mưa bình quân hàng năm khoảng 2.762 mm, cao nhất 3.484 mm và phân bố không đều qua các tháng; mưa cũng phụ thuộc vào địa hình từng khu vực, càng lên cao mưa càng lớn.
+ Mùa mưa bắt đầu từ tháng 5 đến tháng 10, chiếm khoảng 80 % lượng mưa cả năm. Các tháng ít mưa có lượng mưa trung bình từ 50 - 100 mm/tháng.
+ Mưa đá hay xảy ra vào các tháng 2, 3,4 và không thường xuyên trong các năm.
- Gió:
+ Sa Pa có hai hướng gió chính và được phân bố theo hai mùa: mùa hè có gió Tây và Tây Bắc, mùa đông có gió Bắc và Đông Bắc.
+ Ngoài ra Sa Pa còn chịu ảnh hưởng của gió Ô Quí Hồ (gió địa phương) khô nóng, thường xuất hiện vào các tháng 2, 3, 4.
- Giông: Hay gặp vào mùa hè, sau mỗi cơn giông thường có mưa to kéo theo lũ nguồn, lũ quét ở những khu vực có địa hình cao, dốc.
- Sương:
+ Sương mù thường xuất hiện phổ biến trong năm, đặc biệt vào mùa đông một số nơi có mức độ rất dày.
+ Trong các đợt rét đậm, ở những vùng núi cao và thung lũng kín gió còn có cả sương muối, băng giá, tuyết. mỗi đợt kéo dài 2 - 3 ngày, gây ảnh hưởng xấu tới sản xuất nông, lâm nghiệp.
- Nhận xét chung:
+ Do địa hình cao, chia cắt phức tạp, phía Tây và Tây Nam được dãy Hoàng Liên Sơn bao bọc, khí hậu Sa Pa có những nét điển hình riêng và phân chia thành hai vùng khí hậu là vùng cao và vùng thấp, tạo nên sự đa dạng về sản xuất nông lâm nghiệp.
+ Khí hậu Sa Pa mát mẻ và trong lành là nơi nghỉ mát lý tưởng của khách du lịch trong và ngoài nước.
+ Tuy nhiên các hiện tượng tuyết rơi, băng giá, mưa đá, sương muối cũng ảnh hưởng tới sản xuất và sinh hoạt của nhân dân.

Last summer,i did some community service.One of the most amazing community service i did is planted trees.I planted trees with my friends and my teachers.we planted a lot of trees in the school yard.we felt so good because we made the environment cleaner and better.I want to plant trees with my family to share them about it.This is one of the best community service I did
While I am still in my beautiful years of youth, I choose to live a useful life instead of a lazy one. Many young people just want to go home and watch TV, or they love to spend their free time to sleep without doing anything else. For me, I decided to become a volunteer in order to help other people with my ability. Last summer, my school volunteer group visited a nursing home for the elderly artists. When we came, those seniors were very happy because they might see us as their grandchildren. After greeting them, we started to clean up the inner house and the yard. We brought out the old broken stuffs then painted the wall in a brighter color. Another group made sure the yard was free of trash and pile of unnecessary things. We also planted a tree in the corner of the yard so people in the nursing home could have some shade on the sunny day. There were about a hundred of us, so we finished all of our tasks in just one day. In the evening, some of the old ladies cooked some delicious dishes for us, and we had a small party before we headed home. We give them the presents that we had prepared in advance, and we even performed some of our silly dancing and singing skills. They also prepared a small play for us, and we felt that their passion for art was never faded. We had great time together, and the nursing had a better appearance thanks to all of our efforts. When we packed our stuffs to go home, the attachment of those seniors even made some of us cry. We promised to pay a visit soon to bring more happiness and vitality to that place. The volunteer trip was beyond my expectation, and I realized that life is only meaningful when I know how to help people around me.
Volunteer is one of Vietnam’s long-standing activities contributing effectively to community development, capacity building and poverty reduction. Volunteer activities are taking place vibrantly with every passing day, not only do they bring positive results from specific volunteer programs but they also conduce to generate and raise awareness for a large number of people in Vietnam. I’m interested in donating books. As you know , going to school is very important today. Learning to get knowledge, add friends and have a happiness in our life is essential. Unluckily, nowadays, there are some children don't have chance to go to school. They are too poor. I am found of donating books because it can help them to learn many thing around them . Therefore, I have collected all my old books and encourage my friends to donate their books in order that I can send them to the unlucky children.
