Population problems are different in different parts of the world. For example, in many European countries, the population is getting older. The birth rate is low because many young people have only one child or none at all. After retirement, they feel lonely and often very poor because they don’t save enough money.

In Africa, the population problems are very different. The population has grown rapidly over the last 40 years and it has a relatively young population. Many families continue to have large numbers of children to look after older people and to help on the land.

Asia is the largest and most populous of earth’s continents. It also has the highest population growth rate today, and its population almost quadrupled during the 20th century. Asian population will continue to grow, increasing pressure on the region’s natural resources.

1. In Europe, young couples usually have more than two children.

2. Old people in many European countries don’t save enough money for their retirement.

3. The population of Africa has increased rapidly.

Read the following passage and decide whether the statements are true (T) or false (F).

We use many different energy sources for the sake of us. Energy sources are classified into two groups: non-renewable and renewable.

Non-renewable energy sources are those that take millions of years to form and will run out some day. It is energy that comes from fossil fuels such as coal, crude oil, and natural gas. Fossil fuels are mainly made up of carbon and were formed millions of years ago. The chemical reaction which takes place when we burn fossil fuels releases carbon compounds such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide into the air. Carbon dioxide is one of the green house gases which is contributing to global warming and air pollution.

On the other hand, renewable energy sources will never run out, are better for the environment and do not cause pollution. Renewable energy is often called green energy because it is a natural energy, always available and does not have to be formed like non-renewable energy. The green energy is always there. For example, the Sun consistently shines, water is abundant, and the wind blows throughout the year. The five types include solar energy from the Sun; geothermal energy from heat within the Earth; hydroelectric energy from moving water; biogas from dead plants and microorganisms and finally, energy from the wind.

Humans are responsable of other problems the world deals with. More people need more energy. That leads to the present-day energy crisis. Another problem is pollution. Mankind has destroyed the environment with their activities. Since the levels, melting pole ice and polluted air. During the lockdown of Covid-19 in early 2020, many countries had for all the world's problems. 21.The passage mentions three main problems the world is facing. 22. Humans have done nothing to stop the population growth. 23. The energy crisis is now over 24. The environment was better before the Industrial Revolution than now. 25. The writer thinks humans cause their own problems.

The origin of the dragon dance can be dated back to the Han Dunasty (206 BC - 22 20 AD) It was then used in a ceremony for worshiping ancestors and praying for rain, and it gradually developed into an entertainment activity. By the Tang Dynasty (618 907) and the Song Dynasty (960-1279), it had become a common ceremonial activity in festival like Chinese New Year. The dragon body is woven in a round shape of thin bamboo strips, seginent-by segment, and covered with a huge red cloth with dragon scales decorating it. The whole dragon is usually up to 30 meters in length – and people hold rods every 1 to 2 meters to raise the dragon segments. 1. The dragon dance came from China. 2.
