Digital devices play an essential part in teenagers' lives nowadays. I strongly believe that parents should not strictly limit their children's screen time for the following reasons. First of all, they can be used for both research and study purpose. Students can access Internet to download data and store information and textbooks, which save amounts of money for paper books and time. This also means their backpacks are lighter but contain bigger data.
In addition, modern technology tools improve their study results because of a wide variety of useful learning applications on smartphones, laptop, tablets and other media players such as dictionary, spelling, translation, pronunciation and other apps. These apps are not boring but exciting them with colorful designed-courses, funny methods and attractive contents. Furthermore, students can study any time, anywhere as long as their devices are connected to Internet.
In conclusion, personal electronic devices bring more benefits than harm to students. I suggest that teachers allow and encourage the use of these devices in learning both inside and outside of class.
My family consists of four people. There are my parents, my brother and me. My father is an engineer. My mother is a housewife. My brother is a student, and I am a police. We get up at 6 o’clock every morning. After breakfast, I and my father go to work, my mother does the housework and my brother goes to school. We have lunch at noon and dinner at 7 p.m. In the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking or watching television for about an hour. Then my brother and I go to our own rooms. My family is a very happy one. We love each other very much and expect to live together under the same roof forever.
In my opinion, the concern that teenagers spend too much time on social media is valid. While social media can be a useful tool for communication and staying connected with friends, it can also be addictive and take up too much time that could be spent on other activities.
One solution to this problem is for parents to set limits on their children's screen time and encourage them to engage in other activities such as sports, hobbies, and spending time with family and friends. Additionally, schools could educate students about responsible social media use and the negative effects of spending too much time on it.
Another solution is for social media companies to implement features that encourage users to take breaks and limit their time on the platform. For example, Instagram recently introduced a feature that shows users how much time they spend on the app each day and allows them to set a time limit.
Overall, while social media can be a valuable tool for communication and connection, it is important for teenagers to balance their time spent on it with other activities and for parents and schools to play an active role in encouraging responsible use.
Social media has become an integral part of teenagers' lives, and many people argue that they spend too much time on these platforms. I believe this concern is valid. Excessive social media use can lead to negative effects such as reduced attention spans, decreased face-to-face interactions, and an increased risk of mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Teenagers may also become overly focused on creating a perfect online image, which can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem.
To address this issue, both parents and educators should encourage a more balanced approach to social media use. Setting reasonable limits on screen time and promoting offline activities like sports, reading, and hobbies can help. Schools could also incorporate digital literacy programs that teach students about the impact of social media and the importance of maintaining a healthy balance. Ultimately, it’s important to guide teenagers towards using social media responsibly, ensuring it complements their lives rather than dominates them.
House is a place where we can shelter and it gives us a protection from rain, heat , storm etc. Everyone has their own choice on what type of house they feel comfortable to live, so do I. I enjoy to live in calm and open environment, so house built on small land won't be my choice. I want a large open space surrounded by compound where I can stroll especially when I feel bored on my job. I want the garden in front of my house which will give me natural environment. One more thing to mention here, I want the house which is far from main city and industrial area since I don't like the noisy environment.Oh, yeah, what about the size of the house? I prefer the medium size house having 2 or 3 floors. I don't like very large building because I have small family and I don't like to rent my home. I prefer to stay in second or ground floor during the summer season because the top floor is excessively heated during the very season whereas I like to stay in second or third floor during the winter as ground floor will be excessively cold during that period. Next thing is about gym room, I would like to have a fitness center within my premise as I am a young boy and I want to be a healthy person.
I have mentioned so many physical needs in my above paragraph but I would like to conculde my writing saying cool and amicable family environment is must to make our home like a heaven. Otherwise, it will be a hell and we would like to spend most of our time outside the home rather than with family.
Thanks
I like a modern city life, where I can expand everything in the future. However, everything has both good sides and bad ones. City is a place where life has always become modern and freedom. In there, there are many up-to-date houses and streets are often crowded. We can go shopping and buy everything what we need. If we are sick, we can go to the best hospital or find to the own doctors. Moreover, we can receive education in schools, colleges and universities. There are many entertainments such as parks, museums and so on. Additionally, people in the city approach much informations from social media, adverting. On the other hand, city life is very fast and busy. Everybody always try their best for a better life, a better luck and a better opportunity. Although the city has modern vehicles, it make air pollution. It is a significant contributor to the degration of life quality. I think we should have many solutions to take to tackle these important problems.

It was the last day of our school before the summer vacations and staying away from school even for a few days is not easy. Our school never lets us enjoy our holidays peacefully and we always keep missing it, that's the beauty of our school.
Our school lies in a corner of the busy city, surrounded by beautiful gardens on all sides. We are constantly being protected by the love of our teachers and sisters. Each day starts in the church with a beautiful morning assembly addressed by our sister Principal followed by a random check by the prefects. The best part of our school is the discipline that it maintains in the school premises.
Cleanliness is strictly followed in our school and we have been allotted a zero period to look after it. Every corner of our school represents unity, peace and harmony. Classes go on throughout the day but it never makes us feel bored. According to me, academics and all other aspects such as discipline, affection, respect are related to the well being of a school and need to be taken care of.
It's almost impossible to walk a block in Vietnam's major destinations without bumping into a crowd of hungry patrons slurping noodles at a makeshift pho stand. This simple staple consisting of a salty broth, fresh rice noodles, a sprinkling of herbs and chicken or beef, features predominately in the local diet -- and understandably so. It's cheap, tasty, and widely available at all hours.
Learning English doesn’t always have to mean sitting in the classroom and studying tricky grammar. In fact, English language teachers encourage you to do plenty of extra learning outside of school. There are a number of ways to improve your understanding of the language, many of which can actually be a lot of fun.
It’s also a well-known fact that different people respond to different learning methods. Sometimes simply sitting in the classroom or reading a course book is not right for you. It can be beneficial to do some additional work.So if you’re keen to improve your English (or any other second language for that matter) then consider some of these handy tips to get you on your way. Not everything will work for you but, if you add a few of these ideas to your day-to-day language learning, you’ll certainly see some improvement.
Reading is a great way of practising your English in your own time. You can take one word at a time at your own pace, without your teacher peering over your shoulder. If you’re studying at a beginner to intermediate level, pick up a children’s book where the language will be easier than an adult book. Newspapers are also worth reading. Not only can you improve your English but you’ll learn about local and national goings on, which can be handy when communicating with native speakers. Free newspapers and magazines, as well as tabloid-style newspapers which use more basic language, are perhaps better for low level speakers.
Whenever you learn a new word, whether in the classroom or when you’re out and about, make sure you make a note of it. Whenever you have some free time, you can practise what you’ve learned. You could even do this on your phone so you needn’t carry around a notebook with you.
In addition to learning English in class, you could find somebody who is keen to learn your own language and exchange information with them. Being able to speak a language is a gift and, whatever your mother tongue, there will be somebody out there that wants to learn it. You can meet up and give each other work, swap knowledge and help each other progress. This is a great way of continuing your learning outside of the classroom while also saving money.
Writing is a great way of using new vocabulary and getting your head around grammar. Try and write something every day using new words and grammar that you’ve learned. Even if it’s only a few sentences, it’s very important to get into the habit of doing this. It’s also a good way of comparing your progress as you improve your knowledge of the English language. If you have access to English speaking friends or a teacher, you could ask them to look over your writing and give you some pointers.
English is very necessary and useful for each of us so we need to learn it to improve ourselves. The above are ways to help us boost up our communication with English as well as English writing
