Life in the city has long been a hankering for many people because of the benefits it brings. First, it provides us with many employment opportunities to increase income, feed ourselves and our families. There are a lot of kind of jobs from teachers, maketing, designers, ... which need a great human resource. Therefore, people feel easy to find a suitable job. In addition, the quality of life in cities is much better than in rural areas. The infrastructure is modern and there are full of services for the people. More and more entertainment centers, commercial centers, hospitals and schools are built. It means that people's health is better and their needs for entertainment are better. However, besides these positive aspects, the city still has some drawbacks. First of all, because of many factories, transportation and large population, the air here is very polluted, the road is full of smoke and dust, as a result it makes a bad effect on people's health. In addition, due to immigration, so many people rushed to the city so the cost of services and equipment is quite expensive. This is also the cause of a number of social evils such as theft, addiction, gambling, ... Today there are many large cities grow up, more and more people migrate in the city, but besides the positive aspects, the city still has limitations that no one wishes. Everyone should take consideration before deciding where to live.

My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place.
My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.
She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. When she misses school I too help her with all that has been covered at school. We also play badminton together in the evenings.

Summer is my favorite season because that is the time I can rest and relax
I have some plans for this summer. I am going to the beach for about a week.Swimming in the sea always makes me feel most comfortable. I am going to sit in the sun to have beautiful sunburn. I am going to build castles in the sand, which I am very good at. I am going to pick up a lot of pretty shells. I have got an amazing collection of shells and I am very proud to show them to my friends. I am going to take a lot of photos. Well, that's going to be a wonderful holiday of mine! Summer is the hottest season of the year however kids enjoy a lot because of the long vacation. It is very interesting and entertaining season for them as they get chance to enjoy swimming, hilly regions, eat ice-creams and their favorite fruits. They enjoy a long school off during summer vacation. All the school activities remain off after a year long period of hectic schedule. It generally commences from the first day of third week of May and ends on last day of last week of June every year. Summer vacation is the happiest period of the year for me. I like it most because I get protected from the high heat harming sun rays all through the day in summer season. I really enjoy the whole summer vacation with my loving parents and brother. We generally plan to go to the hill stations every year to get protected from the unbearable heat of summer months. It gives me chance to enhance my skill and knowledge in the areas other than the studies.
I also join tuition classes to improve my weak subjects. I enjoy my summer vacations by visiting new places of my country. This year, we have planned to visit my home town’s aunty’s home at Uttar Pradesh for almost 10 days. Then we will go to visit Science City, Victoria Memorial Hall and Nicco Park in Kolkata. We also go to visit my native place where my sweet grandparents live. I like very much to spend some quality time with them and eat fresh vegetables and fruits they crop in their fields. Summer vacation brings lots of happiness to me every year and gives me enough time to meet my all near and dear ones. I will return to my city back on 1st of June. My parents have planned a tour for abroad also. We will rest for one week and then will go to the Singapore on 8th of June for two week. We will be back on 22nd of June and start doing holidays homework seriously.
SUMMER VACATION ESSAY 6 (400 WORDS)I just have happily completed my summer vacations this year. I was very happy and enjoyed a lot by forgetting all the pressure of school days. I forgot all the hectic schedule of the school and daily puzzle of the school and home. I was completely unsure about this year summer vacation plan. My parents kept this plan hidden from me to give me surprise. And I was really surprised when I heard about the plan of my summer vacations. Actually it was a long tour to all the cultural heritages and beautiful tourist places of India.
I have captured all the memorable moments into my smart phone to keep it with me forever. My sweet family members are also captured in the clicks. We did swimming, morning walk in the cool natural air, wander on the roads full of greenery, played football in the ground and so many joyful activities in between the tour whenever we got time. I have noticed and tried to learn something good from the people of all cultures and traditions of India. I have met people of various religions in this year’s summer vacation. I was excited to join cricket academy from my end however, when I heard the plan of my parents I shouted loudly and jumped many times and forgot about the cricket.
I am very happy because my inner soul is satisfied. I have done a lot of shopping too with my parents at various places of India during the tour. I think it was the best summer vacations of my life. Now, we are back to the home and started doing my project works. I have to help my sister and brother too in completing their holiday’s homework. Two weeks are left more in opening our school. After completing our school holiday homework, we will go to the home town to meet our grandparents. We can go there by bus because it is quite short way of 200 km. Later, we will go at short tour of Pradarshani and nearby historical places of the village. We will eat there lots of mangoes, bael, papaya, litchi, banana, cucumber, kakadi, including other summer fruits and home-made ice-cream at my grandparent’s home.
There is a lake also where migratory birds come every year. We will enjoy seeing them in the early morning and evening. This summer vacation is really full of huge fun to me but I have to take care of my health too so that I cannot fall sick and join my school properly.

In the modern life, there is an increase in the people leave the countryside and migrate to the city. The objective reason is that in the city, it brings them comfortable life and favorite job. Subjective causes are due to the following disadvantages rural areas bring about push residents away. To begin with, there is no denial that rural infrastructure is not modern and advanced. Roads are quite narrow and degraded. Schools, hospitals are not cared much and remodeled. Especially the quality teachers and doctors here are just little so the inhabitants have less opportunity to develop in all way than in the urban area. Last but not least, the biggest disadvantage in rural areas is that job opportunities are so race. The main job is craft, farming, which bring a relatively small income. With that salary, we can only live through the day, not afford for services, shopping, entertainment… In conclusion, besides the positive aspects, life in the countryside is very much. disadvantage. We all need to consider carefully before choosing where to live.

When you get out of university you'll understand what I'm about to say. The moment you graduated, after you got out, you'll realized that even your closest friends will have less and less time to hang out with you. And you, in turn, will have less time for them as well. If you learnt to be a future-oriented adult, you'll know that a full-time job comes almost right after your graduation, and you will start saving up for what comes next. But to answer your question, university is THE time to spend with your friends, to hang out and do wacky stuff like punch plates if you're into that kinda thing. The work itself will try to crush you, but don't hesitate to take some time off to be with who you care about, and also DON'T PULL ALL-NIGHTERS, those things are highly counter-intuitive.

Indian Culture and Tradition
Introduction: The fabric of Indian culture is woven with customs and tradition. Tradition, if followed in the right perspective can never be a hindrance to progress unless orthodoxy creeps in and a person is shackled with obstinacy.
High degree of spirituality and honor: Traditional and customary practices are an important part of Indian culture. Tradition is also an approach followed over the years and handed down from generation to generation, ensuring that it leads to a high degree of spirituality and honor.
Indians are proud of its culture. In our country it is traditional to respect elders, be truthful and honest and also to help out others in need. It is also considered traditional to celebrate our cultural festivals and religious activities with the family and neighbors. Tradition leads to the right approach to marriage and death in the family, as has been followed over centuries.
Joint Family Tradition: We still retain the tradition of joint family system in our society as part of our culture. This tradition, where the eldest in the family lays down rules, which are followed by all members of the family, is the reason that the family life is not chaotic.
Advantages of Joint Family system: A joint family system, as per tradition, has a lot of advantages. All family members are specifically delegated responsibilities which lead to sharing and no one is burdened. At the time of crisis or when in need of advice, all the family members can sit together and the final solution, as a result of this discussion, is more often than not the right one.
This traditional approach results in the younger members learning from the experience of their seniors and also respecting them due to it.
The other aspect of traditional joint family is that strength lies in numbers. Even if a family member is ill or goes out of station to work, he has the mental confidence of his family being looked after and being safe, the prime factor today.
Disintegration of Joint Families in India: One can imagine the state of affairs where each individual member of the family takes his own decision regardless of the difficulty of others. It certainly would lead to chaos and disrupt peace of mind and it is not traditional to do so.
The latter is the reason for the disintegration of joint family systems in our society and even brothers prefer to live apart after getting married.
Religious activities: Religious activities are deeply engrossed in Indian culture. These activities are lavish household affairs with everyone contributing their mite. These traditional activities result in persons learning about their heritage, religion and other spiritualities in the company of seniors. There are several rituals in any such religious functions which is difficult to understand in the right perspective and the present generation, moving away from tradition, try to be sarcastic about them. However, if tried to understand logically and learning from experience, we discover the nuances which are thoroughly scientific and meant for purification of the body and soul.
Horoscope matching for marriages: Our marriages, which are generally arranged by elders, are mostly settled on the basis of horoscopes. This is our tradition, but the logic is that people the world over believe in stars and their effect on them. Our marriages are also performed according to specific rites, which are very logical, due to which couples believe that it is a lifelong union. The percentage of separation and divorce is thus comparatively low among Indian communities.
Many Religions: In India, tradition has always been to welcome different streams of thought. This is why, Indian culture has witnessesed so many religions intermingling and prospering over the ages without bias.
Hinduism, Jainism, Islam, Buddhism, the Khalsa Panth, and Christianity, to name a few, have been in India over the centuries and it is a part of our tradition that we have not tried to enforce any specific religion on the masses. Our culture teaches tolerance and we have progressed not in spite of it but due to it.

The tradition of drinking water by the source is the precious tradition of our nation. Each one of us must maintain and promote that spirit. This is a tradition that reflects the respect of the next generation with the older generation to show their gratitude to those who are grateful to them. Every year, on every occasion of commemorating the war invalids, the Party and the State organize activities to visit martyrs 'graves, visit martyrs' families, give presents, create conditions for families to develop. Nowadays, people in society pay more attention to this, not only local government agencies organize these activities but also individual units and organizations are very active. Together, donate, then organize one-on-one visits, giving gifts. Although these gifts are not necessarily worth the material but full of spirit of the hand.
