Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, which is located along the banks of the Red River, in the center of Northern Vietnam. With more than one thousand years of history, Hanoi has a lot of must-see destinations.

The first place you should visit immediately after you reach Hanoi is the Sword Lake. It is the cultural symbol of both the city and the nation. The lake is famous for not only the legend about her name but also the water color. While walking around the lake, tourists can take photos of the Turtle Tower and The Huc bridge. In addition, you should visit the Old Quarter. It’s about 500 meters to walk from the lake.

The second destination for tourists visiting Hanoi is The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), the first university in Vietnam. It is the symbol of Vietnam’s traditional love for study. A space of peace and green trees covering the whole temple may help tourists feel relaxed.

The third famous place in Hanoi visitors must see is the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Vietnam has 54 groups. There are a number of houses modeled after the traditional architecture of the ethnic minorities. Therefore, tourists can imagine their lives instead of going to remote areas.
