Đất nước ta đang phát triển khá nhanh nhờ sự khởi sắc của nền kinh tế và đời sống xã hội, nhưng lĩnh vực giao thông thì dường như không đáp ứng kịp yêu cầu của thời đại. Tình trạng tai nạn giao thông hiện nay đã đến mức báo động đỏ và được xếp vào “thứ hạng cao” trong khu vực Đông Nam Á. Vì thế, vấn nạn này đang là mối quan tâm hàng đầu của toàn xã hội. Làm thế nào để đảm bảo an toàn giao thông? Đó là câu hỏi lớn đặt ra, đòi hỏi sự nỗ lực của tất cả mọi người.
Giao thông ở Việt Nam hiện nay được coi là lĩnh vực tồi tệ nhất bởi những tai nạn giao thông khủng khiếp thường xuyên xảy ra. Người ta không khỏi rùng mình trước những thông tin đáng sợ về sự thiệt hại người và của do tai nạn giao thông gây ra hằng ngày, hằng tháng, hằng năm. Tai nạn giao thông không chỉ gieo rắc đau thương, làm tan vỡ hạnh phúc của bao gia đinh mà còn gây thiệt hại to lớn về vật chất và tinh thần cho cả xã hội. Bên cạnh đó, tình trạng mất an toàn giao thông nghiêm trọng đã ảnh hưởng không tốt tới sự nhìn nhận, đánh giá tình hình phát triển của Việt Nam và gây khó khăn trong việc đầu tư của các nhà đầu tư nước ngoài vào nước ta. Nhiều du khách khi được hỏi về những điều chưa được ở Việt Nam thì họ đều trả lời giống nhau ở chỗ điều đáng ngại nhất là an toàn giao thông quá kém. Họ rất sợ phải đi bộ băng qua đường vì xe cộ chạy ào ào, bất chấp đèn đỏ. Liệu đất nước Việt Nam xinh đẹp, con người Việt Nam thân thiện có tạo được cảm tình với du khách để họ còn muốn quay lại ? Theo con số thống kê của ngành du lịch thì hơn 70% du khách không muốn trở lại vì nhiều lí do, mà một trong những lí do đáng kể là tình trạng giao thông không bảo đảm an toàn. Playing exercise not only improves one health but also reduce stress. I choose to play badminton after a hard studying day. Badminton is a famous sport around the world. It is played by children, adult and even od people as it helps to exercise our muscles. Un football, badminton needs a smaller area of place to play. All the 2 players have to do is making the ball pass by a net until it drops on the ground. Although it seems to be easy, it requires lots of pracal skill and flexibility. Moreover, being good at badminton, one will be able to play other sport related to small ball such as table tennis. Nowadays, people tend to pay more attention to sports since it brings several physical and psychological benefits especially badminton. Besides, many high schools and universities teach badminton as a physical subject for students. In my opinion, everyone should take up badminton as a regular sports because of its advantages. Sport is necessary in modern society as human are going to be lazy.

There are many sports, which are good for our health and popular over the world. Soccer is one of my favorite sports. It is played by two teams consisting of 11 people each team. The general rule is that the ball is kicked by leg and the players get score when having the ball in their goal post. Football is known as “king” among other sports. First, it improves integrity when applying several techniques to create strong power. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique. Furthermore, football is public concern as well as heated debate. Football is now popular through women, who are thought not able to play this kind of sport.

My parents’ hometown is Long An, but I was born and raised up in Ho Chi Minh City. People usually call it Saigon, and it is the biggest city of Vietnam. It has a lot of fascinating buildings and constructions since it is a modern and developing city. What I love about Saigon is that all the new and old things are perfectly harmonized. Behind the skyscrapers are the small alleys which contain a slower lifestyle and traditional values. My friends and I have a lot of places to go in our free time such as Nguyen Hue walking street, Tao Dan Park, Dam Sen Water Park, Suoi Tien theme park, and many other places which tourists usually visit. Besides the view, it can be said that Saigon is one of the food heaven that people should not miss when they come to Vietnam. We can find almost all kind of Vietnamese cuisine here, and we can enjoy featuring foods on floating restaurants on Saigon River. I love Saigon a lot, because both the people and the city itself are nice to me and whoever wants to visit it.

Bên cạnh phong cảnh, có thể nói Sài Gòn là một trong những thiên đường ăn uống mà mọi người không nên bỏ lỡ khi đến Việt Nam. Ở đây chúng ta có thể tìm thấy hầu hết mọi loại ẩm thực Việt Nam, và chúng ta có thể thưởng thức những món ăn đặc trưng trên các nhà hàng nổi trên sông Sài Gòn. Tôi yêu nơi này rất nhiều, bởi vì cả con người và thành phố rất tốt với tôi và những người muốn đến đây.

My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has long and beautiful hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only her can know my true feelings. We have been best friends since our young age, and I will keep this friendship forever.

Quê hương em nằm ở vùng đồng bằng sông Cửu Long nơi có những cánh đồng thẳng cánh cò bay. Chính bởi được tạo nên bởi phù sa bồi đắp nên thuận tiện cho tưới tiêu gieo trồng. Nơi đây được xem như vựa lúa lớn nhất cả nước. Mỗi vụ lúa chín, cả cánh đồng rộng bát ngát được mặc trên mình bộ áo vàng rực rỡ, những bông lúa chín càng vàng ruộm dưới ánh nắng vàng, vô cùng rực rỡ, tươi đẹp. Khi lúa đã vào mùa thu hoạch, bông lúa đã bắt đầu trĩu bông, mỗi khi có những cơn gió, dù rất nhẹ nhàng nhưng cũng đã hương thơm dịu của lúa chín thổi đến khắp mọi nơi, dù ở trong làng nhưng cũng vẫn có thể ngửi thấy. Mùi hương của lúa rất đặc biệt, nó dìu dịu không nồng đậm hương như những loài cây, loài hoa khác nhưng lại mang đến cảm giác rất dễ chịu,thoải mái. Em thấy ngồi trên bờ đê mà nhìn xuống những thửa ruộng xa xa là đẹp nhất, vì lúc ấy không thể nhìn thấy đâu là điểm kết thúc của sắc vàng kia, những bông lúa thì đung đưa theo những con gió, trông như những cánh tay đang vẫn chào, trông rất đáng yêu. Bên cạnh bờ ruộng là hàng cây xanh cao thẳng tắp, những cây này được trồng thành hàng, bao quanh lấy cánh đồng lúa. Sắc vàng của lúa hòa cùng với sắc xanh của hàng cây trông đẹp như một bức tranh sơn dầu. Em yêu và rất tự hào về quê hương em, em yêu ở chính cái vẻ đẹp giản dị mà thanh bình ấy.

Gia đình mình không như nhà nhiều bạn chỉ có 4 người mà có tới 6 người, bao gồm ông bà nội của mình, bố mẹ mình, anh trai và mình. Ông bà nội tớ đều đã ngoài sáu mươi tuổi rồi, hai người vẫn còn khỏe và minh mẫn lắm. Ông có một bộ râu trắng dài, mỗi khi rảnh, ông thích nhất là chơi cờ cùng những ông lão trong khu phố, cùng họ uống trà, nói chuyện, y hệt như một lão nhân thời xưa vậy. Còn bà tớ rất thích ra công viên gần nhà tập dưỡng sinh vào mỗi buổi chiều cho cơ thể dẻo dai. Những lúc khác, bà đều trồng rau hoặc chăm sóc những cây hoa trong vườn. Còn bố tớ là một giáo viên cấp 3, chỉ khi nào có tiết dạy bố mới đến trường thôi, còn lại bố đều ở nhà đọc sách hoặc soạn giáo án. Bố mình vẫn còn trẻ lắm dù rằng bố đã đồng hành với nghề thầy giáo này hơn hai mươi năm rồi. Mình rất thích được nghe bố giảng bài, vô cùng dễ hiểu và dễ nhớ. Còn mẹ tớ lại là một nhân viên ngân hàng, công việc của mẹ ấy vậy nhưng lại cần sự cẩn thận tỉ mỉ vô cùng cao. Mỗi ngày tớ đều thấy mẹ ngồi làm sổ sách chi chít những con số, khi ấy tớ thương mẹ lắm. Còn anh trai tớ, năm nay anh đã vào cấp 3. Anh lớn hơn tớ nhiều lắm, cả vóc người cũng cao lớn nữa, trông chẳng thua kém gì bố cả. Anh rất yêu thương và chiều chuộng tớ. Tớ rất yêu gia đình mình.

Khi nghe ca khúc này, tôi chợt nhớ đến hình dáng đấng sinh thành, người đã sinh ra tôi, đã không ngại khổ nuôi tôi khôn lớn. Và đó chính là mẹ, người luôn đứng vị trí quan trọng nhất trong tâm trí tôi.
Thật vậy, trong gia đình, tôi thương nhất là mẹ vì mẹ đã luôn dành riêng cho tổ ấm này một tình thương bao la, không sao tả xiết. Thân hình nhỏ bé chăm chỉ làm việc cùng đôi bờ vai gầy gầy đã gánh bao nhiêu cực khổ khiến tôi thương mẹ lắm. Tôi yêu nhất đôi bàn tay hằng ngày khám bệnh cho bệnh nhân, tối về lại phải chăm sóc gia đình, nấu những bữa cơm nóng hổi rồi về đêm khi ánh trăng tròn lên cao, đôi bàn tay ấy chưa được yên giấc, tiếp tục vỗ vỗ quạt quạt ru chị em tôi chìm vào giấc ngủ và từ khuôn miệng xinh xắn của mẹ cất lên lời hát ru ngọt ngào mà tha thiết, đậm đà tình thương bao la của người mẹ dành cho những đứa con.
Mặc dù vất vả đến thế nhưng mẹ tôi chẳng than lấy một lời, mẹ quả thật là người cứng rắn, biết cam chịu một cách đáng khâm phục. Mẹ luôn cẩn thận trong mọi việc, hoàn thành tốt và biết chịu trách nhiệm từ những việc mình làm để làm gương tốt cho con cái. Tuy nhiên trong việc dạy dỗ con, mẹ là người rất nghiêm túc. Mẹ luôn chỉ bảo cho chị em tôi những cái hay cái tốt, từ những việc nhỏ nhặt như công việc nhà đến việc lớn như cách ăn nói sao cho đúng mực, thái độ và cách cư xử với mọi người sao cho phù hợp. Mẹ quan tâm đến mọi việc tôi làm, nếu có việc gì không vừa lòng mẹ liền trách và phân tích rõ cho tôi hiểu vì sao tôi không nên làm như vậy, tuy vậy tôi cũng không giận mẹ mà ngược lại, tôi thấy kính trọng mẹ nhiều hơn. Trong gia đình là thế nhưng ngoài xã hội, mẹ là người hiền lành, dễ hòa đồng, biết cách ứng xử trong mọi tình huống và điều đặc biệt ở mẹ khiến nhiều người quý mến là mẹ rất biết cách ăn nói cho vừa lòng mọi người. Và tôi thấy mình thật may mắn khi được làm con của mẹ.

Nhưng với tôi, quê hương luôn quen thuộc và đầy thương nhớ. Một ngày nọ, trở về quê hương, niềm cảm xúc mong nhớ ấy lại rung động trong trái tim tôi. Tôi nhớ những đầm sen đầy nước , đầy hoa, nhớ những ngôi trường cùng tiếng trống vang xa, nhớ lại giọng nói quê mình, nhớ lại từng hình ảnh, từng con sông, nhớ cả tiếng hót trong trẻo, ấm áp của chú chim đầu ngõ, nhớ từng cánh đồng bao la bát ngát, nhớ lại mọi cảm xúc ngây thơ trong sáng hồn nhiên của mình thời còn trẻ, còn dại. Ánh mặt trời dìu dịu của buổi chiều tàn rọi vào tán lá. Cảnh hoàng hôn tuyệt đẹp hiện ra trước mắt tôi. Đôi chân tôi dính chặt vào đất, nó như không muốn trở về thành phố, muốn đắm chìm trong bầu không khí mát mẻ mà ấm áp này mãi mãi...

My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time.
