HƯỚNG DẪN:
1. Đề thi gồm 5 trang. Thí sinh kiểm tra số trang trước khi làm bài.
2. Thời gian làm bài 90 phút: 10 phút đầu dành cho phần thi Nghe, 80 phút cuối dành cho các phần Đọc, Từ vựng – Ngữ pháp và Viết.
3. Bài thi Nghe (10 phút) gồm có 2 phần, mỗi phần lặp lại 3 lần. Giám thị bật mỗi phần nghe 3 lần. Cho thí sinh thời gian đọc thông tin trước mỗi bài nghe 1 phút.
4. Thí sinh làm bài trực tiếp vào đề thi. Đọc kỹ yêu cầu trước khi làm bài (ghi câu trả lời vào phần Your answers của các phần và chỗ trống cho sẵn ( trong phần Viết lại câu và phần thi kỹ năng Viết).
5. Thí sinh giữ gìn bài làm cẩn thận.
6. Nếu thí sinh làm sai, dùng thước gạch, không dùng bút tẩy màu trắng. Thí sinh
chỉ được dùng bút một màu xanh hoặc đen để làm bài. Không dùng mực màu đỏ.
7. Thí sinh không được sử dụng bất cứ tài liệu nào kể cả từ điển.
8. Giám thị không giải thích gì thêm.

Why are dictionaries important?
Can you use a dictionary? Some pupils don't want to use one, but I don't agree. I think dictionaries can help us to learn about our language and other languages.
First of all, when you read a book, you can find out the meanings of new words in a dictionary. You'll be able to use these words in your writing and it'll be a lot more interesting. You can spell words correctly,too. It's nice when your homework isn't full of spelling mistakes!

Mẹ tôi là một giáo viên dạy cấp II, hằng ngày mẹ dậy lúc 6h sáng để chuẩn bị bữa ăn cho gia đình, mỗi bữa ăn mẹ gửi gắn vào đó một chút tình cảm. Mẹ tôi ăn mặc giản dị, mỗi ngày đến trường là một bộ áo dài thướt tha, tuy bộ trang phục ấy rất giản dị nhưng nó lại đem đậm chất người con gái VN ngày xưa. Đến lớp mẹ dạy các anh chị như con của mình, có bài nào khó mẹ ân cần chỉ dạy. Mỗi lời giảng của mẹ đưa theo từng những lời nói, những trang sách.
Mỗi buổi tối mẹ dành ra 30 phút để dạy tôi học, có bài khó mẹ nhẹ nhàng chỉ cho tôi. Sau đó ,mẹ quay trở lại bên những trang giáo án. Khi tôi ốm, mẹ thức đêm chăm sóc tôi. Nửa đêm tôi thức dậy thấy mẹ ngủ gục bên cạnh mình, tôi vội lấy chăn đắp cho mẹ lúc đó tôi thấy khóe mắt mình cay cay và thương mẹ vô cùng. Mẹ tôi lúc đó vội tỉnh dậy và hỏi tôi đỡ chưa, tôi mỉm cười vào ôm trầm lấy mẹ. " Mẹ ơi, con đỡ rồi" nước mắt lúc đấy cứ vậy tuân ra. Mẹ tôi nghiêm khắc lắm, nhưng bên trong sự nghiêm khắc ấy là tình yêu thương mẹ dành cho tôi.
Công việc của mẹ rất bận nhưng mọi công việc trong gia đình. Mẹ đều lo toan một cách chu toàn. Mẹ là một người sống khiêm tốn, thật thà. Con người mẹ luôn được bộc lộ trên gương mặt mỗi khi mẹ buồn hay vui. Mẹ vì tôi mà đánh mất tuổi xuân của mình, mẹ để tuổi xuân ấy để dạy tôi, nuôi tôi trưởng thành. Mẹ mong tôi trở thành một người biết tự lập mỗi khi không có mẹ.
Tôi thương mẹ và cũng yêu mẹ vô cùng, tôi sẽ không bao giờ nói " Con yêu mẹ " bằng miệng mà tôi sẽ thực hiện nó bằng hành động của mình. Cả đời này con mẹ hai chữ " cảm ơn ".
