Many of children's toys are perfect craftwork. To he, Vietnamese folk art, is a typical example.

A

To he is made from dough into different little things or animals which Vietnamese children love to keep as toys. Interesting shapes can be created to the wish of the children. It could be an animal like a chicken, a monkey or some fruits like a hand of bananas. The dough can be made from flour taken from ground rice or sticky rice, but the amount of sticky rice should be restricted to just 10 percent of the dough. Besides making nice dough, the artist prepares natural colours, which are usually made from leaves, vegetables or fruits. Sometimes paint is used, but traditionally natural items are preferred because they will make safe edible toys. The artist may creatively use leaves or small twigs to make further decorations. [1]

B

To he can be made by anyone who is creative and skillful enough, so parents can become favourite to he artists of their children. However, great artists of to he can be found in many Vietnamese villages. They can make extraordinary artworks with beautiful shapes, harmonious combination of colours, and lifelike features. The artists usually travel through villages or come to local fairs and festivals selling toys to children and their artworks play an important role in folk decorations. [2]

C

Nobody knows exactly when to he came into being, but it is believed to come from the north of Viet Nam. Xuan La village in Ha Noi is famous for this traditional art. Devoted artists have brought this beautiful art to everywhere in Viet Nam. Outside a schoolgate or on the pavement of a crowded street, a to he artist can be found passionately creating little colourful toys for some young children. [3] To he remains an interesting feature of Vietnamese culture.

Paragraph 1: Introduction

(Đoạn 1: Giới thiệu)

Some people maintain that the benefits of vocational courses are greater than those of more traditional ones. That is the question we need to consider.

(Một số người cho rằng lợi ích của các khóa học nghề lớn hơn lợi ích của những khóa học truyền thống hơn. Đó là câu hỏi chúng ta cần xem xét.)

Paragraph 2: Arguments for

(Đoạn 2: Luận cứ ủng hộ)

It is certainly true that the workplace is becoming more competitive. A vocational course may be a more direct route into employment compared to traditional courses. It is also undeniable that certain jobs (for example nurse, hairdresser) are only available to people with a vocational qualification.

Paragraph 3: Arguments against

(Đoạn 3: Luận cứ phản bác)

On the other hand, choosing a vocational course means deciding what job you want to do when you are still at school. Many people believe this is too early. How can a teenager know what job is right for him or her? Another problem is that vocational courses only focus on what you need to learn for a particular job. Is it not better for students to explore other interests while at university?

Paragraph 4: Conclusion (the writer's opinion)

(Kết luận (ý kiến của người viết))

On balance, I do not believe that students should choose vocational courses unless they are sure what career they want to follow. It is wiser to opt for a course that really interests you.

Write about a festival.

My favorite festival is Lunar New Year. On New Year's Day, everything seems so bustling, fun. I was given new clothes. Have a family reunion with the rice dish with delicious Tet holiday food. I get lucky money. Great number of. On New Year's Day, the roads are so colorful. Peach blossom, apricot blossom, flowers bloom all the way. What a passionate New Year's Day!

I celebrated my birthday party last year in my own house. I decided to have an all girl party with all my friends and the female members of my family. It was amazing we had two drink fountains, everything was pink and my friend had baked and decorated a huge pink cake for me it was beautiful. I think you can get the jist of my favourite colour. By the middle of the night we were all singing on karaoke and everyone was really drunk. My last memory of the night was me lying on my livingroom floor really drunk and my friend were popping party poppers on me! lol. It was a great night and all my friends still speak about it now.

I love to just put on a t-shirt and wear some comfortable athletic shorts. I like to just chill. If I am not chilling I am most likely shopping. I also like to get ready for school because I love my closet and I get to pick most anything I would like. Most people say that if they could they would wear a t-shirt and shorts to school that would be much happier. I honestly would not change our dress code. I am fine wearing what I wear. I also like getting ready for school because more than half of my clothes are “school clothes” meaning I have plenty to choose from. On weekends i wear t-shirts and shorts but i like my school clothes better. There is nothing I like more than strolling into Starbucks and buying a frappuccino then going and shopping for back to school.

My best friend is Hương. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.

If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.

What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.
