There are many sports, which are good for our health and popular over the world. Soccer is one of my favorite sports. It is played by two teams consisting of 11 people each team. The general rule is that the ball is kicked by leg and the players get score when having the ball in their goal post. Football is known as “king” among other sports. First, it improves integrity when applying several techniques to create strong power. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique. Furthermore, football is public concern as well as heated debate. Football is now popular through women, who are thought not able to play this kind of sport.

Môn thể thao yêu thích của tôi là cầu lông. Tôi thích chơi cầu lông bởi vì tôi nghĩ rằng đó là một môn thể thao tốt cho sức khỏe. Mỗi môn thể thao đều làm cho mọi người cảm thấy nóng và khó chịu nhưng với bộ môn cầu lông thì bạn sẽ thấy thoải mái vì trong sân cầu lông thường có điều hòa nhiệt độ.Tôi thường chơi cầu lông vào những ngày chủ nhật. Tôi thường chơi với một người bạn của tôi là Linh. Cô ấy rất giỏi cầu lông. Nhưng tôi không giỏi môn thể thao này nên khi chúng tôi chơi cầu lông, cô ấy đánh cầu qua cả hai bên cảu tôi. Cô làm cho tôi chạy đi chạy lại và cảm thấy rất mệt. Đôi khi tôi phải nhảy cao để đánh đánh quả cầu về phái đối diện. Mặc dù điều này làm cho tôi mệt nhưng tôi vẫn luôn muốn chơi môn đó vì sau mỗi lần chơi, tôi cảm thấy mình khỏe mạnh hơn nhiều. Với tôi, tôi nghĩ cầu lông là môn thể thao tốt nhất.

I. Khái niệm:

• Lời nói trực tiếp (direct speech) là sự lặp lại chính xác những từ của người nói.

• Lời nói gián tiếp (indirect/reported speech) là lời tường thuật lại ý của người nói, đôi khi không cần phải dùng đúng những từ của người nói.

II.3 nguyên tắc cần nhớ khi chuyển từ câu trực tiếp sang gián tiếp:

• Đổi ngôi, đổi tân ngữ

• Lùi thì

• Đổi cụm từ chỉ thời gian, nơi chốn

III. Cách chuyển câu trực tiếp sang câu gián tiếp

1.Câu trực tiếp ở dạng câu kể/tường thuật:

Câu gián tiếp:

VD:

• “I’m going to visit Japan next month”, she said. → She said that she was going to visit Japan the following month.

• “He picked me up yesterday”, Lan said to me. → Lan said to me that he had picked her up the day before.

​2.Câu trực tiếp ở dạng câu hỏi

• Câu hỏi Yes/No question

Câu hỏi Yes/No question là câu hỏi mà người nghe sẽ phải lựa chọn trả lời Yes/No cho mỗi câu hỏi.
Câu gián tiếp:

VD:

• “Do you love English?”, the teacher asked.  → The teacher asked me if/whether I loved English.

• “Have you done your homeworked yet?”, they asked. → They asked me if/whether I had done my homework yet.

Lưu ý: Nếu trong câu trực tiếp có từ “OR NOT” thì câu gián tiếp bắt buộc phải dùng WHETHER

“Does she roses or not?”, he wondered. → He wondered whether she d roses or not.

• Câu hỏi Wh-questions

Câu hỏi Wh-questions là câu hỏi bắt đầu bằng từ hỏi Wh- (What, Where, When, Which, Why, How…)
Câu gián tiếp:

VD:

“Where do you live, Nam?”, asked she. → She asked Nam where he lived.

​3. Câu trực tiếp ở dạng câu mệnh lệnh (Vinf/ Don’t + Vinf, please)

Câu gián tiếp:

VD:

• “Open the book page 117, please”,the teacher said. → The teacher asked us to open the book page 117.

• “Don’t touch that dog”, he said. → He asked/told me not to touch that dog.
