E.g.1. I am really satisfied about your service.

E.g.2. I was really bored during the film because the film has simple content. (Tôi cảm thấy chán trong suốt buổi xem phim vì bộ phim ấy có nội dung đơn giản.)

E.g.3. My sister is frightened of my friend because he is usually dare her. (Em gái tôi sợ bạn tôi vì anh ấy hay đe dọa em ấy.)

E.g.1. It was such a short film, exiting one.

E.g.2. Taylor looked so frightening when she was in that white costume with long black hair.

NOTES

Những tính từ được thành lập từ động từ thêm hậu tố luôn sử dụng “more” trong câu so sánh hơn và “most” trong câu so sánh nhất. Ví dụ:

E.g.1. When I was a child I was more frightened of snake than ghost. (Hồi còn nhỏ tôi sợ rắn hơn sợ ma.)

E.g.2. For 12 hours on the flight to Japan, I was the most bored I’ve ever been.

E.g. This history book is interesting. I get more interested in history.

E.g.1. I’m so bored that I can’t find anything to do but taking selfies. (Tớ chán quá nên chẳng biết làm gì ngoài việc tự chụp ảnh.)

E.g.2. You’re boring. You came here to see me and then can’t take your eyes off your cellphone.

Còn đối với dạng bài như ví dụ 2: He makes me _______.

·         Keep

·         Leave

Một lưu ý nữa là khi thấy trong đề thi xuất hiện dạng thức giới từ đi kém ví dụ như: “I am interested in him” thì chọn tính từ dạng "ed".

PART B: READING

I.    Read the passage and do the task that follows.

A recent survey has shown that the busiest shopping street in the world is not in London. New York, or Paris, but in Warsaw, Poland. Nowy Swiat, which means New World, has an incredible 14,000 Poles walking down it every hour. It's a lovely place to shop. The pavements are very wide. There are statues, palaces, attractive town houses and high-class restaurants. The buildings are not too high. They look old, but in fact the whole city was rebuilt after World War II.

There aren't any billboards or neon lights. There isn't any loud music, and there aren't many tourists. People think that Polish shops have nothing to sell, so nobody comes shopping here. The world does not know about this paradise for shoppers yet.

It is now possible to buy almost everything in Warsaw. There are a lot of Western shops but the interesting thing is that Polish manufacturers are also now producing high quality goods themselves because the products are not mass produced for world consumption. Nowy Swiat has a lot of small, specialty, and chic shops. It hasn't got the huge department stores that sell the same products everywhere.

I learn many subjects in school. But the one I enjoy learning is History. History tells us how people lived ages ago. It also tells us how men had to struggle to make the world a better place to live. Many pupils, however, do not to read History. They say that there are too many names and dates to remember. But they do not understand that if we do not know about the past, we can not understand the present properly. In fact, only a study of History will make us realize that everything we do today is the result of what our grandfathers and others before them did in the past. So, History is the long story, we learn many interesting things.

I love history so much that i have a lot of history books in my house. Some day, i might even write a history book myself
