Tet or lunar new year is the main holiday for vietnamese people. It is the most important celebration in the year which falls sometimes between January 19 and Februay 20. Tet mark the beginning of spring and it a time for family members who live apart try to be together
The preparatios and celebrations used to be spread over months but nowadays the holiday is much shorter. However there is great excitement building up well before tet.
