1. I started playing the guitar when I was 12 years old. My parents didn't want to buy me one, so I used to go to my friend's house and practice on his guitar. My friend Kevin said I was much better than most of his friends. I wanted to ask my parents again for a guitar, but he told me to wait for another year, at least.

2. Then I started to have guitar lessons at school. That was when everything changed. I learned how to read music and started to write my own songs. From that time, I knew that making music was all I would ever want to do.

3. I didn't say anything to my parents. Kevin's parents didn't know what we were doing, either. Then on Parents' Day at my school, my music teacher told them that I had a brilliant future in music.

4. Now I'm 20 and I enjoy student life. I've already performed in a few local events, but I don't have much time to practice now because I have a lot of exams. However, two music companies have said they want to talk to me as soon as I leave university because they want me on their teams.
