1. Self-discovery is a lifelong journey where individuals explore their inner world to understand themselves more deeply. This process includes learning about one's personal values, strengths, weaknesses, dreams, and purpose in life. It usually begins with self-awareness, which means paying attention to one's thoughts, emotions, and actions. As people become more self-aware, they begin to understand what is truly important to them and what kind of life they wish to build.
2. A key part of self-discovery is understanding one's identity. This involves looking at how we see ourselves and how we believe others see us. During this process, people may realize they want to grow or change. They may choose to let go of fear, doubt, or social labels that no longer reflect who they are. This can lead to personal healing and transformation, allowing individuals to become more confident and tranquil.
3. Self-discovery also involves recognizing that we are all connected. We are not separate from others, but part of a larger community. This sense of connectedness helps us develop stronger relationships and encourages kindness and respect toward others. When we live with this understanding, we create harmony within ourselves and with the world around us. This is often called alignment with oneness.
4. Finally, every person has a unique life purpose. Discovering this purpose may take time and experience. It often comes through trying new things, reflecting on what brings joy, and noticing patterns in daily life. Becoming an observer of one's own thoughts and behaviors helps people better understand how their inner world influences their outer world. This deeper understanding leads to better decisions, stronger self-belief, and a more meaningful, balanced life. Through self-discovery, individuals can live more fully and with greater purpose.

1. Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist artist who became famous for his bold brushwork and vibrant colors. Some of his most well-known paintings include “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” and his various self-portraits. These pieces are now appreciated all over the world and are regularly displayed in museums and exhibitions.
2. Despite his artistic talent, van Gogh faced many challenges in his personal life. Born in 1853, he suffered from serious mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and later, epilepsy. These health problems made it difficult for him to keep strong personal relationships, and he often felt very lonely and isolated from others. His emotional struggles followed him throughout his life and deeply affected his work and lifestyle.
3. [I] In addition to his mental health issues, van Gogh also had financial problems. [II] He found it difficult to sell his paintings and was unable to support himself through his art. [III] Although Theo was kind and helpful, this situation caused stress in their relationship. [IV] One of the most dramatic events in van Gogh's life happened in December 1888. After a serious argument with fellow artist Paul Gauguin, van Gogh cut off part of his own ear and gave it to a woman at a brothel.
4. Following the incident, he was taken to a hospital in Arles, France, where he received medical treatment. Although he continued to paint after leaving the hospital, his mental health did not improve. The reasons behind his actions that night are still not fully understood, and many artists and writers have since explored the event in their works.
5. Despite his difficulties, van Gogh remained dedicated to his art. He created more than 2,000 artworks during his lifetime. Sadly, he died by suicide in 1890 at the age of 37, feeling unrecognized.
