Hi. My name's Hien. I'm a teacher in Viet Nam. I teach English at a primary school in Ha Noi. I usually go shopping with my co-workers in malls in my free time. Besides, I like cooking for my family. My daughter says she loves my spaghetti and spring rolls.

Hi. My name's Michiko. I'm from Tokyo, Japan. At the moment, I'm a pop singer in a five-member band. I sing US-UK pop songs in my shows, and I like singing all the time. When I have time off work, I often go to the cinema with friends to get rid of stress.

Hoa: That's impressive. Is your painting on the wall?

Minh: Yes, it is. It's one of my favourite ones.

Hoa: How nice it is! I love the colours in your picture. They're very eye-catching.

Minh: Thanks. And what's your hobby, Hoa?

Hoa: Er,... I can't draw. But my hobby is collecting pictures and paintings.

On the weekend, she usually eats out in an Indian restaurant in the evening. Sometimes she goes with friends, sometimes with her elder sister. She likes Indian food because it has a lot of things for vegetarians.
