Today many people in the word are leaving their small villages in the country for big and noisy cities. This means that they are moving the peaceful hills, mountains, fields and rivers of the countryside for the busy word of streets, buildings, traffic and crowds. In many countries people come to live in towns and cities because they need word. After one or two factories have been built in or near a town, people come to find word and soon an industrial area begins to grow. There is ususlly an erea nearby where the factory workers live. The families of these workers need schools, hospitals and markets, so more and more people come to live in the area to provide these services - and so a city grows.

Television enables us to see things in distant places. It is indeed one off the most wonderful things that man has ever invented.

Television not only entertains people but also teaches people a variety of important things. Through this wonderful invention we learn about people and events thousands of miles away. Pictures taken in all pát of the world are also shown on television for entertainment as well as for instruction. Short films based on popular stories are often shown which entertain millions of people all over the world.

In some countries television is used to teach pupils and students many useful lessons. Students who cannot go to school because of transport or other problems are taught all their lessons at home through television.

Many people who work in london prefer to live outside it , and to go to their offices , factories or schools every day by train , car , or bus , even though this means they have to get up earlier in the morning and come home later in the evening . One advantage of living outside London is that houses are cheaper . Even a small flat in London without a garden costs quite a lot to rent . With the same money , one can get a litter house in the country with a garden of one 's now .
Then , in the country one can rest from the noise and hurry of the town . Although one has to get up earlier and spend more time in trains of buses,one can sleep better at night,and during weekends . In summer evenings one can enjoys the fresh , clean air of the country. If one likes gardens one can one's free time digging , planting , watering and doing the hundred and one other jobs which are needed in a garden
