Christmas is well known all around the world for its special features. It occurs on 24 and 25th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. In Vietnam, Christmas has become more and more popular, especially to young people. On this day, people often decorate their houses and prepare presents,…Even so, many households in big cities buy the Christmas tree. They prepares and decorates it with colorful electric lights, gifts and and small bells. Children also love Christmas day so much. They prepare clean stocks for receiving the presents from the Santa Claus. Under the cover of darkness on 25th December night, people often go to the church to pray for best things or gather to share happiness together. In conclusion, Christmas day has become one of the most popular festivals in our country, brings a new color to the picture of a civilized religious culture in Viet Nam.

Giáng sinh được biết đến trên toàn thế giới bởi những đặc trưng thú vị của nó. Nó diễn ra vào ngày 24 và 25 tháng mười hai nhưng bắt đầu từ đầu tháng. Ở Việt Nam, Giáng sinh trở nên phổ biến, đặc biệt là đối với giới trẻ. Vào ngày nàu\y, mọi người thường trang trí nhà cửa, chuẩn bị quà tặng. Thâm chí, nhiều gia đình ở các thành phố lớn mua cây thông Giáng sinh. Họ chuẩn bị và trang trí các đèn nhấp nháy nhiều màu sắc, quà và những cái chuông nhỏ. Trẻ em cũng rất thích ngày Giáng sinh. Chúng chuẩn bị những chiếc tất sạch để nhận những món quà từ ông già Nô-en. Trong sự bao phủ của màn đêm ngày lễ giáng sinh, mọi người thường đi đến nhà thờ để cầu nguyện cho mọi điều tốt đẹp hoặc tụ tập để chia sẻ niềm vui với nhau. Kết lại, lễ giáng sinh ngày đang trở thành một trong những ngày lễ quan trọng ở nước ta, mang đến màu sắc mới cho bức tranh tôn giáo văn hoá văn minh ở Việt Nam.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday in my country. Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Asia as well, such as China, Japan or Korea. And it is often celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. In the past, on this day the moon was brightest and roundest which represented the family reunion or gatherings. Therefore, families and friends often came together or harvested crops for the festival. Nowadays, Mid Autumn Festival is mainly for young children in Vietnam to enjoy the best time of the year. But not only can children celebrate this day but also adults can, adults who wish to have a chance to remind their their childhood and feel young again.

Harry Potter is one of my favourite movies. I have loved it since it was held in the theatre years ago. Based on the best seller fiction written by JK.Rowling, the movie makes it real. This movie was about Harry Potter, he is a wizard born in the dark days of the wizardry world. His parents died in the hand of Voldemort, the dark lord. During his journey, he experienced a lot: happiness, sadness, live and death moments, etc. At last, he finally beat Voldermort and became a great auror like his parents. This movie taught me many things. The most important thing for me is that love and friendship will always be there for those who deserve it and fight for it. I’d recommend this movie for everyone.
I love watching Vietnamese movies. One of the most impressive Vietnamese films is The Age of Youth. This film has two parts. The film tells the story of Linh – the daughter of a well-off family. She loves Korean culture, so she went to Korea to live and study. Here, Linh accidentally lives with Khanh, Mai and Junsu – the son of the innkeeper. Junsu is talented in singing and dancing, handsome but naughty. This guy is Linh’s engraving. In Korea, Linh and Junsu gradually developed feelings for each other. However, Linh’s family later went bankrupt, and her mother became ill, so she returned home. Junsu is quite shocked but can not do anything else, he has focused on his work. After much has happened, Linh and Junsu eventually get back together but are opposed by Junsu’s family. Part 1 of the film closes with an open ending. In part 2, after Junsu’s mother became sympathetic to Linh, Junsu had an accident and he lost his memory. Junsu had to go to America for treatment and love another daughter. At this time, Linh was extremely sad. However, Junsu once again loves Linh, although he does not remember who she is. Gradually, Junsu regained his memories, and he remembered Ling as his first love. After so many difficulties and obstacles, the two of them have come together. Youth is a Korean-style film, many ironies impress viewers. The footage of the movie is very beautiful and sharp. "The titanic" is one of the most famous film in the world. It was released in 1997. It is the best love story I have ever watched. I watched this movie many times but I never got tired watching it. Whenever I watch it, I always cry. The film is about the love story of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. Jack was a free-spirited poor young man but he got a ticket for a luxurious ship, Titanic. Rose was from the American upper class and was engaged to a man. She was reluctant to marry him. She met Jack in Titanic and they fell deeply in love even there was a huge gap between them. Titanic was headed to America from England. However, the ship crashed into an iceberg on the way. The side of it broke up and the ship was flooded. Not everyone could escape safely. Many people dead include Jack. Rose was survived because Jack helped her to climb on a boat. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. The reasons I like it so much are the grand scenery and the romantic content. This is the best movie I have ever watched. No wonder why Titanic already won 11 Academy Awards. I recommend that everyone should watch this movie at least once.

My favorite day of the week is Sunday. Because it's the holidays. I can wake up late in the morning, then go to breakfast and drinking coffee with friends. Lunch with the family and relax. The afternoon can entertain with friends and playing sports. Then go to dinner and go to the movies with a friend. I finally went home, playing games a little and went to sleep. Ending a day of rest and preparation for the new one work week
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
