Pho is one of my favorite foods. Pho is the most popular and special dish in our country, Vietnam. There are two main kinds of Pho: Pho with beef and Pho with chicken. Pho is served in a bowl with a specific cut of white rice noodles in clear beef broth, with slim cuts of beef (steak, fatty flank, lean flank, brisket). Chicken Pho is made using the same spices as beef, but the broth is made using only chicken bones and meat, as well as some internal organs of the chicken, such as the heart, the undeveloped eggs and the gizzard. I always enjoy a bowl of hot and spicy Pho for breakfast. Mornings are a special time for pho in Vietnam. I love Pho and I can eat it every morning without boring.

I have many hobbies, but I like reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. Reading is a wonderful way to keeps you relax and happy. For me, there is nothing makes me happier than to have a stack of books on my nightstand to attack on a night when there is no alarm clock waiting the next morning. In my daily life, I have several hobbies such as cooking, surfing, listening to music and so on. However, I like reading books the most for some reasons. Firstly, reading makes me feel comfortable after many long stressful hours at school. I actually like comic books because they contain lots of colorful and interesting images that keep my spirit relax. Secondly, reading books provides me a great deal of diverse knowledge of many fields. For instance, I can know more specific culture of each country in The World’s Cultures book. Nowadays, English is an international language, and most young people are learning this language with the hope of being able to communicate with people on over the world. We should focus on these four elements, because each skill will have the necessary content to complement the other three. Textbooks at schools and English-teaching centers are just basic steps, so we need to be proactive in finding more resources.
