I have just returned from a 1-week holiday with my friends in Da Nang and Quang Ngai. We stayed most of the time in Da Nang. Then we spent the last few nights in a very picturesque and historic place called Hoi An Old Town. We had such a relaxing time on our holiday. We enjoyed some wonderful local food. It’s really delicous. The activities we enjoyed on holiday were walking, swimming and go out at night. The water is so fresh and clean, and the temperature is just refreshing - not too hot and not too cold. We went hiking in the mountains nearly for some days, which was very good for our fitness. I really enjoyed this holiday. I loved the fresh air and the scenery, and of course the food. I will certainly be going back there another year, as I think it's one of my favourite parts of the world.

It will be a great joy or happiness for everyone if we can own a house designed by ourselves. A house in my dream is not necessarily a large house, as long as it fits my style and character. A house located on the outskirts of town will be very suitable for me to enjoy a serene life. It will be a two- storey house facing west-south side. Moreover, my house can not be lack of a large garden surrounded by thousands of different colors of flowers and fruits. I it the most when having a breakfast or enjoying night views in my own garden. Simplicity is beauty, this explains why I would prefer an airy space rather than a well- equipped house. However, the house should have basic necessities in the kitchen and bathroom to serve all my demands in daily life. In addition, I will use bright color tones for the whole house, especially my bedroom to make it more spacious. My bedroom will be more perfect and ideal if it has a balcony where i could smell the fragrance from the garden as well as enjoy the sound of the birds in the morning. Besides, I also have an intention of having a small garage and storage. In conclusion, nothing but a suitable house for my lifestyles will fulfill my future dream.

Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh Island camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. That day, the weather was very beautiful, the air here is fresh. On the island there are many stilt houses and swings. We were assigned to build tents. Then, all of us paripated in some amazing games such as cat chasing mouse, hide and seek, ... Everyone was all excited and active. Someone losing must receive fines, that make the cow face. It looks so funny. On that day, the teacher also celebrated a birthday for some of our classmates. At noon, most people feel hungry, we return to the tent, eat the food prepared from the day before, then, tell stories and sing, take pictures together. In the afternoon, we were cruising by boat. This was the first time I've experienced go on water surface, it feels great. At 5 o'clock, we all had to arrange luggage to come back home. I bought myself some lovely souvenirs. On the way, looking at the island away, I hope that there will be more interesting excursions this.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Sau đó, mình tham gia những trò chơi tập thể như mèo đuổi chuột, bịt mắt bắt dê,... Các bạn đều rất hào hứng và thích thú. Một số bạn thua phải chịu phạt, làm mặt con bò rất buồn cười. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vầy.

In the past, I had a wonderful trip to Dalat, everything in there made me feel very comfortable. I live in Ho Chi Minh City, I often see people traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to DaLat by motorbike. However, I choose the safer option is to go by bus. If you go at night, it only takes about 5 hours to come to Da Lat.

If it comes to a place that I like the most, it is Hanoi. I went to Hanoi last year. I am here with my family. We came here in the autumn so the atmosphere was quite pleasant. I really like the view of the quiet streets with falling yellow leaves of Hanoi. It reminds me of poems about Hanoi that I have been studying. But seeing it with my own eyes was able to feel its full beauty. We stayed at a hotel in the heart of Hanoi. I went for a walk with my mother. Great if you wake up early, take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and then enjoy coffee at a roadside shop. I must admit that the coffee in Hanoi is very delicious. Everything in Hanoi is available. What I like most is probably the people of this place. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Their warmth and kindness make me feel this place is extremely familiar. My family decided to visit famous places in Hanoi. First we visited Uncle Ho’s mausoleum. This place is very dignified. Then we stopped by West Lake to eat Trang Tien ice cream. In the evening, go back to the pedestrian street at Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the Cathedral. In Hanoi there are many delicious dishes but I cannot try them all. If I visit Hanoi another time I will enjoy more of its scenery.

Nha Trang is famous for its poetic and I had a great vacation with my family last year .It was so exited .That is a long trip .My sister ,my parents and me flyed by plane to Nha Trang .5 days for our vacation in Nha Trang .When we got there ,it was already dark ,we rented a hotel .I slept and only dreamed of great things that would happend tomorrow .In the morning ,we went to Nha Trang beach together .We passed by wonderfully beautiful streets and took photos together . Nha Trang is so beautiful .Sea water is very pure and clear .The most speacial thing in Nha Trang beach is the sand .The sand here is very smooth .It white and what's special is that nowhere has the sand as smooth and white as the sand here .I swam with my sister in the sea and my parents sunbathe .Affter that ,we ate seafood .The seafood is fresh and delicious .Finally we visit Nha Trang Oceanographic Institute .That vacation is so amazing .I hope to visit more places in this beautiful city in the future .
Amidst the immense mountains and forests of Lam Dong province, Dalat, a beautiful town, captivates all those who have been there once. I am one of those.
Dalat is often called the City of Eternal Spring. Flowers of all colors, with many species, the most numerous of which are orchids. More than anywhere else in Vietnam, Dalat sees flowers vie with one another in blossoming in spring. I used to get up early in the morning on fine days to welcome dawn on the highlands. Opening the windows, I had a breath-taking view of nature, and enjoyed the fragrance of wild flowers carried by the clouds, I felt relieved in my heart.
In the late afternoons, I often reserved for visits to the Valley of Love and Sigh Lake covered with quiet pine forests. Twilight on Dalat also brought many pictures and sensations. As a certain poet said, “Dalat is the city of honeymoon, the city of love”.
After two week is rest in Dalat, my health improved a lot. I think in the very near future Dalat will be Switzerland in the South-East Asia. The wind rustling through the pine forests, the roar of waterfalls, the chirping of birds and the clatter of horse ‘s hooves…all of these unforgettable memories always remain with me.
My mother had a business trip to Da Nang last weekend, and I had a chance to visit this
beautiful city with her. She worked for one morning, and the rest of the time she took me
outside to visit some famous places. The first spot was the Hoi An ancient town, which
was a completely different world from the busy roads out there. I took many pictures
with the lanterns, the old corners, and enjoyed some of the very delicious food. In the
evening, we took a short trip to Dragon Bridge - a symbol of Da Nang City. Since it was
Saturday night, we had chance to witness the Dragon head blowing fire and water. It was
such a wonderful view, and I was really impressed by that. Next we went around the city
to enjoy the nightlife here, and Da Nang was very different from Ho Chi Minh City. Next
morning, we woke up pretty early to go to My Khe beach - which is also known as one of
the six most beautiful beaches of the world. The sand was white, the water was crystal
clear, and the ranges of coconut made the atmosphere seemed so poe. In the afternoon,
we visited the Asian Park - Sun World Da Nang Wonder so I could play some interesting
games. In the evening, we went to two other famous bridges - the Han River and the
Love bridges. Both of them were so beautiful, and it was a pity that we did not have more
time to actually enjoy the view. I left Da Nang in regret that night, and I had to admit that
Da Nang was such a worthy city to live.
last week , my family went to Nha Trang. We went there with our car. The scenery is very beautiful. We visited a lot of beatiful scenery but for me is still the most special beaches in Nha trang. Blues beach with white sand ,looks awesome .The weather here is a great . We also visited the souvenir shop , i bought some gifts to give to everyone. At lunch, we ate some seafood , they were delicious and beautifully. Then i and my sister went swimminng , sea water is really cool and fresh . I loved this tour. Thank you my family gave me this tour.

There are four people in my family – my parents, my little sister and I. I love them all, but my favorite one is my mother. Her name is Mui, and she is 39 years old. She works as a manager at a furniture store, therefore she is quite busy. She leaves home at 7 and a half in the morning after making breakfast for the whole family, and she usually comes home late in the evening. She is a beautiful woman with an ideal height, long curly hair and a pair of big round eyes. However, because she spends too much time and effort on her work, she starts to have some signs of old aging such as small wrinkles and freckles on her skin. Since she has to work with many employees, she usually has a serious look on her face, and her voice is a little bit loud. However, she is actually a very nice and outgoing person. She always tries to help the staffs with their work, and she is very devoted to her job. At home, she talks to us in a more gentle voice, and there are very few times when she scolds us. She rarely has time to relax and take care of herself, but some of her favorite things to do when she has any spare time are reading novels, watching romantic movies, and chatting with us. I know she works under a lot of pressures, so I always talks to her about funny and interesting things at my school, and she seems to enjoy my stories very much. My mother is such a great woman when she can be both a good supervisor and a good mother. I love her a lot, and she is my goal to strive for my future.

My father is a talented engineer. This year, he is 42 years old. His building looks very healthy with a slightly tan skin. He has an angular face and curly black hair trimmed neatly. People often praise him as a kind, generous and estimable man. When neighbors have trouble, he is not afraid but be willing to help. At work, he is quite hard working and strict so he is should be loved and trusted by all colleagues. Most of the time my father works away from home, but he always tries to arrange time for our family. At home, Dad often help mommy with housework, cleaning, watering plants, ... and take care of our study. My father and I have the same hobby as swimming, so we always go to the swimming pool near the house to make out who swim better. Besides swimming, he is also gifted in some other sports such as football, badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc. In my eyes, he is also a wonderful friend and teacher. I share with him a lot of happiness and sorow, even the secret. He always llistens, feels sympathetic, and gives me useful advice. Last summer, I went to Nha Trang beach with my family , it was such a memorable summer holiday. We went there by car , and when we nearly got there, from the far distance , I could see how wide and beautiful the beach was. The weather was so nice that made me want to run directly to the beach, enjoy the fresh air and clean water. There were a lot of people swimming , sunbathing, playing volleyball on the shore , and some children even built sand castles and flew kites .We stayed at Edele hotel whose service I found very satisfied and I had the chance to eat the sea food there , they were very delicious . I went to Vinpearl Land , Long Sơn pagoda,too .They were very wonderful. I felt very fun and happy because I also met many foreigners ,they were tourists and I had talked to them a lot . We stayed in Nha Trang for a week and the last day , I went to some gift shop near the beach to buy souvenir for my grandparents and my friends . When I came back home , I felt very happy but a little regretted because I wanted to stay there longer. I told my dad I d Nha Trang and I hoped we can go to Nha Trang again one summer.

Hello Nan,
It's nice to see you again. I'm sorry that I couldn't write a reply to you soon when you sent me an email two weeks ago. I was really busy as I had to prepare for my first semester exam. And now, I can have time to reply to you.
In the last email, you told me that you had had an incredible summer holiday at Hawaii and Parkistan, hadn't you? I was really amazed to hear you describe the scenes of the beauty spots there and my stomach seemed to shout loudly when you told me about the foods and drinks that you had a chance to enjoy. It was so great. I'd love to have an opportunity to visit those places you.
Last summer, I also had a fabulous vacation with my family. Can you guess where we traveled to? Not faraway, it was my hometown, Hue. Maybe Hue is such a familiar name to the foreigner tourist you, Nan. I guess that you also know a lot about Hue, right? Because it took to much time to travel by train or railway so my parents decided to buy some plane kets so it just took us about 3 hours to fly from HCM City to Phu Bai airport. Then because we were to exhausted, we took a four-room taxi along the Main Road to my grandmother's house. When we got there, it was 6 p.m. We thought that everybody had had eaten dinner because it was late but, because of being amazed waiting for us, my relatives including my sisters, brothers, uncles and aunts still sat and waited for a long time but they didn't complain anything.We were really glad and then, we had dinner together and went straight to sleep.
We decided to stay there for 2 weeks. On the first day of the first week, I wandered around the Hue citadel with my sisters and brothers. We took a lot of photos and we also asked the guard to let us try on the king and queen's clothes. We looked beautiful and very pleased. My brother acted exactly King Tu Duc. He was really good at History. He said that Tu Duc King was his favourite character in the past. The net days, we went to the supermarket and the wet market to buy some food and visited the Perfume River. I was so lucky that I had a chance to hear people sing the ancient songs that we often call cai luong, ca tru. We ate tofu too.
In the second week, we started to invent games. We played a lot of games Hide-and-seek, Fight pretendingly in the battle, Bike-racing, Gun-making and so on. We also swam in the Perfume River. It was very deep so that we had to be really careful. We enjoyed a lot of delicious food : bot loc cake, phu thue cake and Hue beef noodle soup. It was tasty.
When we returned home, I really missed my sweet memories so I would study well and persuade my mother to let me return back to my hometown again.
