Đề 2:

The village has always been known to be a place of peace and quiet. The scattered houses among hundreds of plants and trees at once indicate the lack of activity in the village.

The workers in the village leave their homes early in the morning to work in the plantations or towns nearby. Some have their own plantations, and some make certain articles in their homes to sell them in the towns. A few of the villagers, including women, go out to catch fish in the streams and rivers found in the village. Though the people of the village do not usually earn much, yet they seem to be contented.

In the afternoon, most of the villagers are at home. Some of them take a nap after lunch; some work in their small gardens, and some visit the small shops in the village. In various parts of the village children may be seen playing the popular games of the village. Occasionally, a cyclist passes by.

Then, in the evening, the villagers meet one another. Some play cards and other types of games peculiar to the village. Some talk about the day's incidents in the village, and those whose minds go beyond the village discuss world events.

In almost every village there is a headman whose duty is to settle quarrels among the villagers and maintain peace in the village. Whenever there is a dispute, the villagers go to the headman who is held in such esteem that his word has the force or law. In this way the villagers have developed their own simple laws, and the crimes of cities are almost unknown to the people of the village.

During a festival, the whole village is alive with activities. Everyone is in a happy mood and plays his part to make the festival a success. This is the time for the men, women and children of the village to wear their best clothes and the village is full of colour. These simple ways of life in the village, however, must soon change. Progress in science and education has already begun to affect the outlook of the people in the village, and hundreds are leaving the village to seek their fortunes in the towns and cities.

Each summer vacation, I am taken to the countryside by my parents so as to relax after a hard working term. I really like the life here. In rural areas, there are not as many houses and vehicles as in the city. As the result, the atmosphere is quite fresh and cool. Most people mainly travel by bicycle or on foot. The landscape is very poetic and picturesque. There are many gardens, rivers here. We can grow vegetables or chickens, fish,... on our own. The local are very kind, generous and friendly. They are willing to give directions to strangers and help each other in difficult times. Whenever we are away, we can relievedly ask our neighbors to keep our houses and children . Another thing that we especially like is that in the countryside, we are reconciled to nature so that the soul is always open and the body is healthy. Living in the countryside is fun and wonderful. In the future, I really want to live here.

My first visit to Nha Trang, the coastal city, was three years ago. It was a pleasant and memorable trip.

Nha trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Viet nam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs, the soft sigh of the sea breeze, clean white sands and turquoise waters, it all makes for a stunning landscape. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach - a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands, that is Hon Tre where is the largest of the islands.

Nha Trang is the city in hamoney, its fine wather, favorite position and friendly people bring it a certain balance. Nha Trang is a great holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back.

My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and participate in the inter-school competitions.

My favorite sport is football. It's a team sport. It usually lasts for 90 minutes for a football match. There are 11 players on each team. It's very easy to play because we need only one ball and two goals to play. The goal of the game is to score points by bringing the ball to the opposing team's goal. Except the goalkeeper, the other players are not intentionally using their hands or arms to catch ball. The winner is the team that scores more goals at the end of the game. I usually play football with my friends in the afternoon. I love football very much because it's interesting and good for my health.

On the occasion of my tenth birthday, my dad gave me a great robot.

This robot looks like a little kid. He was only about two inches tall, he was made of a light hard plastic and light blue. The big head like a square box placed on the body, not see the neck makes him look strangely strange! There are two antennae on each side, with two large ears, such as two halves of orange attached to the sides of the head with two very large round screws. My body as well as the rectangular box upright, there are lines decorated decorations look like he wears an armor. Behind the back there was a small hollow of two small batteries, close to the knob knob black switch. Two hands and two feet are also connected by small square boxes and attached to the body by large screws. Thanks to this, the limbs can turn in easy directions.

I turn on the switch knob, immediately the robot works immediately. From his belly, the shouts emit as his legs begin to move. Legs step by step step by step, his hands waving to the steps. The most funny thing is that the head looks right, then turns to the left as a hunt for the enemy. Going, touching the bottom of the table or the corner of the cabinet, you automatically avoid the other direction. The shouts and footsteps of the uncle led the cockroaches in the corner of the panic fled.I love playing with this robot, I see you as a quiet and intelligent little friend.

In future, when robots can be used both in homes and in other areas, it could improve the standard of living of people. House hold chores took significant cut in humans' life. Many people burn their energy on their day to day tasks like cooking, cleaning etc after coming from work. When robots can complete such jobs, people can spend more time with their family and friends. . When people get more time, they can talk freely and resolve such issues and eventually create happy society. Robots can be used on certain jobs to curb accidents due to negligent behaviour of some people. When robots are used on such work, it does not cause any human life due to accidents at the work places. Human resource can be efficiently used by involving humans to perform those tasks which demand human skills like critical thinking, problem solving etc while robots can be used on low end jobs like moving cargos, heavy weights lifting etc. While some people talk about how robots can be useful to human, others voice their concerns like demotion in human values and creation of lazy society due to heavy dependency on robots. When robots become cheaper to produce, employers may prefer to use more robots than humans. As the technology constantly improves the capabilities of robots, it could undermine the values of humans. Many people may rely on robots heavily. Some may even develop a habit of using robots on tasks that they can easily do. This could create lazy society. Humans could start to cherish robots at the expense of human lives. In conclusion, robots can be used on anything which can eventually improve humans' standard of living but definitely not at the expense of human lives. Robots can be used to help humans to live in harmony and to form happy societies. This fundamental setup should not be allowed to deteriorate by robots

My earliest memory of cooking goes back to my school days. It was the summer vacations. Mom had made same old boring chapatis and some awful untouchable sabzi like Tindola* or Bhindi* or Baingan* or something. (I am sure it was very flavorful and tasty, but just not for me.)

So I went into the kitchen. There were some chopped up veggies in the fridge - Carrots, Potatoes, Onions, Green Peas, and Cauliflower. I had seen mom make sabzis before and had seen on TV as well (Sanjeev Kapoor, 'nuff said). I took a wok, put in oil, some mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and then threw in the veggies. Let them cook for some time. And voila! I had made my first stir fry veg without knowing what it was called!

Served it to everyone with great excitement only to realize it was missing salt and the veggies were not nearly cooked enough. Mom took the wok back and worked her magic on it. Have made it quite a few times after that till we all got utterly bored of it.

What lessons did I learn from it? Veggies don't get cooked in 30 seconds in real life. Sanjeev Kapoor does that on TV by editing out the waiting part.

I also learnt another thing, not from this first experience, but over time. I learnt what makes me happy in my heart of hearts. What makes me really happy is when I see others eating what I made and enjoying it. I enjoy the look on their faces when they have the first bite, close their eyes, and go hmm... Of course, I've got my fair share of ewws and yucks at that moment!
