Before Tet, people clean up, decorate their house, go to the Tet market to buy new clothes, cakes, flowers... Banh Chung is an indispensable flavor on Tet, Banh Chung is a traditional Vietnamese cake. On New Year’s Eve, there are a lot of special fireworks display will be performed in the sky.

 On the New Year, people say don’t bring a black cat because it bring bad luck for the New Year. At Tet, people wishes each other good luck, children get lucky money, everyone gathered together to eat family meal. There is one kind of tree that every year every family has, it’s peach blossom. In the North, people welcome New Year with peach blossom, but in the South, people welcome New Year with apricot blossom.

Tet is a traditional festival in our country, we should continue to promote that good tradition.
