A visible change of any living organism is getting older. Child, youth, adult and elder are some of the stages in our life. Child and elderly stages are dependent stages compared to other two stages. For both of these situations, a human being needs other’s support.
While we were children, our parents were there for our supportive role. When the parents became older, definitely their children need to be the supportive role for their parents. This is the role we carry among human beings vice versa. If the parents live with their children only parents will feel safer, attached to family and sharing of love. Unfortunately, many of them attending to works, they do not have time to look after their children neither their parents. In this case, elders could be sending to some a common place where other elders are staying. But payment cannot be made by the government.
Since it is the responsibility of their family, definitely family needs to pay for caring of their parents. They may not have enough time to take care of their parents. Since the government has employed special people for that, at least those elders’ parents need to be paid by their family.
For an example, many of the parents were private sector employees and they did not have a monthly pension scheme. But they have only Employee provident fund and employee trust funds. It has been used by the children of the parents in plantation sector of Sri Lanka. Finally, children will neither look after their parents nor elderly parents do not have own money in hand. That is, all advantages utilised from elders. When they become a stage of the dependent, families are trying to escape from their responsibilities. This is a kind of selfish. Paid by the government should be stopped and families should be paid for them.
Especially the children are responsible for looking after the parents; they should definitely pay for the parents and not the government.

Pho is one of the Vietnamese traditional food. The most delicious and typical brand of Pho in Vietnam is Ha Noi Pho with wonderful flavor. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef or chicken and other spices. Pho is a noodle soup; therefore, it’s better when being added with beansprout. Eating Pho with family not only reflects Vietnamese tradition but also creates cozy atmosphere. At weekends, my friends and I usually go to a cafeteria to enjoy Pho because Pho is served at many restaurants in Vietnam. There are two main kind of Pho: noodle soup with beef and sliced chicken, both of them are delicious and high nutrients. Pho is favorite food of almost Vietnamese and often served as breakfast. Moreover, Pho is popular in international market for its pleasant taste and reasonable price. Foreign tourists visit Vietnam and they really like the taste of Pho here. I am very proud of it. In near future, I hope Pho will be more famous in other countries so that foreigners can enjoy this cuisine and understand about Vietnamese culture.

According to legend, the first Vietnamese people were descended from the dragon king Lac Long Quan and the angel Au Co. The dragon and the angel married and produced one hundred eggs, from which hatched Hung Vuong, the first Vietnamese king.
The reality, unsurprisingly, is rather less poetic. The population of Vietnam is an eclectic mix of cultures, languages and religions, encompassing at least 54 ethnic groups. The majority of the country, however, is dominated linguistically and culturally by the ethnic Vietnamese - also known as the Viet, or Kinh - who make up nearly 90% of the population and are thought to have originated in an area now occupied by southern China and northern Vietnam.
The most recognisable traditional garment you're likely to see in Vietnam today is the ao dai, an item of national dress consisting of a long, tight-fitting, silk tunic worn over loose trousers. The design of the modern ao dai is a variation on more traditional forms of dress, and was perfected in the 1950s. Though it was banned after the fall of Saigon in the late 1970s, the ao dai has since seen a resurgence and many women in Vietnam continue to wear it, often as part of a uniform for schools, universities and public service roles.
The male equivalent of the ao dai is called the ao gam, and is a brocade tunic ordinarily worn only on special occasions, such as birthdays or festivals. You are less likely to see the ao gam than the ao dai in a day-to-day setting in Vietnam.
More well-known even than the ao dai, the non la is a style of Vietnamese conical hat that has become symbolic not just of Vietnam but of East Asia in general for many Westerners. The hat, which is usually made from bamboo or straw, appears in Vietnamese art dating from 2,500-3,000 years ago, and is considered part of modern Vietnamese national costume.
Though an original writing system for the Vietnamese language was employed in the thirteenth century using modified Chinese characters, it wasn't until the mid-1600s that the current Vietnamese alphabet (quoc ngu) was developed. This writing system, which uses the Latin alphabet with a wide range of diacritic marks to indicate additional sounds and tone, was developed by Portuguese Catholic missionaries with the express purpose of aiding their missionary efforts. The popularity of the script spread with help from the French, and eventually the traditional, Chinese-based Vietnamese script was abolished in 1918.
