   A = (-1 + 11) + ( 3 - 13) + (-5 + 15) + (7 - 17) - 9

   A = 10 - 10 + 10 - 10 - 9

 A = (10 - 10) + (10 - 10) - 9

 A = 0 + 0 - 9

A = -9
