Tet is a traditional holiday of our country, Vietnam.
It often begins in late-January and ends in early-February. With the meaning of seeing the old year off and welcoming the new year, Tet becomes a special occasion of reunion for Vietnamese families. At that time, all family members try to come back to their home and get together to make such preparations for Tet as buying new clothes and cleaning their house. A branch of apricot blossoms or a Kumquat tree is indispensable decoration for every family in these days. They seem like a fresh air to the house. We display a tray full of fruits and vases of flowers on the ancestral altar.
Some typical Tet's food are sweets, coconut jam, fruit candies, melon seeds, stew pork with eggs, and especially sticky rice cake. Tet meals are usually bigger and more delicious than our daily ones.
On Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. Adults will give lucky money to children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things for their family.
In my opinion, I like cozy and fresh Tet atmosphere. All family members gather and talk about resolutions for a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about anything.
" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.

If you have access to good public transportation where you live, take advantage of it. Since you won’t have to worry about keeping your eyes on the road, you can take advantage of the time to read, catch up on news, or just relax.

In my opinion, every single person has her / his own way to learn English. Usually, I have English class on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Nowaday, English becomes the offical language in the world which is considered as a work's criterion, I partly understand how important and essential it's. As the result, I spend quite alot of time learning this subject: for 2 hours per day.For me, the best way I use to improve improve my English is watching films, cartoons, tv shows and certain tv channels like BBC or Sky news. That is a very good thing due to the fact that when you are younger you can associate the words said do the words and know I challenge myself by only listening to what they say and not read the subtitles!The second good way to learn English is to write several times the new words we learn, for instance, when I learned the colours or the numbers or even the name of our clothes, the homework was to write each new word five or ten times!! This definetly helped me a lot!A third good way to learn and practise our English is to talk with our friends or teacher in class! This way we can practise new vocabulary and at the same time we learn with the mistakes that we might say during our speech. And at the end we always say "I could have said that in a different and better way!".Next advice is to read a lot, not only books but newspapers and magazines as well! There is so much good and new vocabulary in a book that we have no idea! That's why I try to read in English at every opportunity that I have! Even if I don't understand the meaning of that word, I can understand the meaning of the sentence and by that I can try and guess what that word really means!

My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

3 .Nowadays English is one of the most mean to speak with anyone over the world so it is spoken by any person in any natiọn Most of secondary shool, English is a compulsory subject so student must learn it. I like English so I always want to improve it. I learn it everywhere: at shool, at home, in the bus, on the internet.....I am bad for listening and writing so I usually listen to radio, do exercises, write letter for my friend in English and pratice with my friend.In the future, I will use my English for English my work. My dream is a teacher of English in order to teach for my student to know more about people and countrys of England. I hope my dream will become true and so do you

An important person who has influenced in my life in most positive way is my mother. Nothing in the world can compare with the true love and the care of my mother. She is not only my mother but also my friend and my great teacher. She taught me how to be brave, honest and kind to everyone. She also showed me how to give and take. Although she is very busy, she always spares her time for her family. She is always the first one to get up and prepare breakfast for us. She is the first person has to come up my mind and always helps me whenever I have to cope with difficulties. In conclusion, in my heart always consider my mom as the most perfect woman in the world and I do want to say ''I love you, mom. I can not live without you!''

Learning English is very important to everyone in the world today.There are some reasons for which we should learn this language.First of all ,being equipped with this language ,you do not face any language barrier when you work aboard or travel overseas.It is estimated that there are over two billion people speakinh and understanding English around the world.Hence,English has become the most common language in communication.Specially, you have more knowledge about culture,people and historical stories of the landcapes in the world through reading great works translated into English.Furthermore,using English helps you build cultural bridge so that international friends get the understanding of the diverse culture of VietNam.Last not but least ,if you are fluent in English,you will havea better opportunity to get paid job related to diplomacy ,tourism and so on.For example,the first impresssion to help you succeed in the interview is to respond by English smoothly.All in all ,learning English is necessary and useful if you want to be a global citizen

Today, there are many people all of the world study English. Most of people think that maybe english becomes their second language. But have you ever wondered:" Why do we need to learn English". Why don't we searching about it?
First, English helps you to improve friendship and maybe include our knowledge around the world. Nowadays, many people have a wider friendship around the world. So learning English is an important way to communicate with friends from another countries. Absolutely, learning English can help you to make more friends, we can exchange with a lot of people, improve our relationships. From that, we can learn more, open our knowledge world. Every year, there are lots of teenagers go overseas to learn for themselves, to improve every important, to bring every new thing from another countries to our country.
Second, English helps you to connect our country to the world or we can learn more about another countries's tradition. Learning English, we can introduce every beautiful things, places,... to internaional friends from another countries. Foreigners wil be curious and they will travel to our country. On the contrary, we can understand more special traditional foods, cultures,... from another countries. I think it's great so we need to learn English
Finally, we can find jobsmore easily. Today, all companies need their wokers know at least on language, especially English. In some international companies, every person have to know English well. So we need to learn English in other to have a good job for you.
You can see. Learning is very important way to climb on our future stepladder. I hope that people wil learn English for themselves and for their future.

Water pollution is a source of water contaminated with chemicals or foreign toxins that are detrimental to the health of users, plants or animals. Water pollution occurs when harmful substances enter water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, etc., which can be dissolved, suspended or deposited in the water. The water pollutants include: fertilizers and pesticides from agricultural production; wastewater and waste from food processing; lead, mercury and other heavy metals; Chemical waste from industries. It leads to many consequences. Almost all types of water pollution are harmful to the health of humans, animals and plants. Heavy metals from industrial processes can accumulate in nearby lakes and rivers. They are toxic to marine organisms such as fish and shellfish, and subsequently to those who eat them. Sulfate particles from acid rain can harm the health of organisms in rivers and lakes. And many consequences more. How to solve this problem? We can treat waste water properly, lractice green agriculture, have law and policy against water pollution, treat Industrial wastewater,......This is my talking aboute water pollution.
