Individuals who offer community service are known as volunteers. However, those are required to do so by the school, the government or a court cannot be termed as volunteers, since they are not doing the service out of their own will. People are involved in community service for different reasons and it is up to the individual to realize if it is worthwhile and why they are helping others. This article looks into some of the main beneficial aspects of community service.
Community service has now grown to be a vehicle for bringing a nation together. It is like the central point of a country, as there is a key importance on doing good for others. Every country wants its people to be disciplined and work for change. Community service comes at handy as it is the best way to inculcate this sense of responsibility to individuals. To attach an extra dimension to the aspect of reform, the judicial systems in many countries have recognized the importance of community service by handing over such projects to law breakers.
In addition, by participating in community service, children and teenagers are introduced to good values and morals. Values such as humbleness, gratefulness, honesty, sincerity and respect are among the important virtues that one can acquire from helping the community. The importance of community service eventually relies on how the provider perceives it. These programs are intended to inculcate a sense of community and civic engagement in people. – One of my hobbies is listening to music, especially English songs. My hobby started when I was a first – year student at Da Nang University of Technology. I spend much time on it. I can listening when I am doing my housework such as clean the floor, wash clothes, wash dish…or when I sleep…I love Taylor Swift, Rihana…they are great singers. I can learn English vocabulary when listening to English songs and it also make me feel relaxed.

The size of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam is 54,331m2 including: Van Lake, Giam garden, inner self surrounded by brick walls. The inner self is divided into 5 zones. The first zone begins with the main entrance to the Great Chinese ports. The port gate has unique architecture of two storeys with stylized double dragon Le; inside it has a double dragon of the Nguyen dynasty. The second zone features with Khue Van Cac - a unique architecture built in 1085 (Nguyen dynasty), including 2 floors, 8 roots. Khue Van Cac usually organizes the poetic competition. Today, Khue Van Cac is taken as the symbol of Hanoi capital. The third zone has a square lake called Thien Quang Tinh. Two sides along the lake is two stele garden which store 82 stelae established from 1484 to 1780 in which name, hometown of the doctorate of 82 examination were sculpted. Step through the door into the Great to the Fourth named Bai Duong Van Mieu which has name of outstanding pupils of Confucius along with other famous culture of VietNam. Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám is a Temple of Confucius in Hanoi, northern Vietnam. The temple host the "ImperialAcademy" Vietnam's first national university. The temple was built in 1070 at the time of Emperor Lý Thánh Tông. It is one of several temples in Vietnam which is dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. The temple is located to the south of the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long. The art works are given away as gifts or are used as home decorations for special occasions.
Temple of Literature is a historical complex at the corner of Nguyen Thai Hoc St, Ton Duc Thang St and Quoc Tu Giam St. It is just a short walk from Hang Bong St of the Old Quarter. Built in 1070, Temple of Literature is dedicated to Confucius, in 1076 it became the first university of Vietnam by establishing Quoc Tu Giam or Imperial Academy within the temple to educate bureaucrats, nobles, royalty and other members of the elite. In 1253 it was renamed to "National College". This must see temple is not only a place to discover Vietnamese ancient architecture but also an oasis of tranquility amidst Hanoi's neverending traffic chaos.
A brief history ...
The Literature Temple (Van Mieu) was constructed in 1070 during the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong to worship Confucius. This is also the first national university of Vietnam, a Confucian academy, first for the princes and mandarin only, but later distinction students of ordinary families also being accepted. This place also honored 82 doctorates who had passed through a number of rigid exams held here in feudal ages. Their names, birthdays and birthplaces are engraved in 82 headstones perched on crafted tortoises. It is well believed that touching the heads of these tortoises will bring luck.
Temple of Literature is a historical complex, consisting of five main courtyards. The best feature of the site is perhaps its peaceful and gorgeous settings with nicely maintained lawns, gardens and lotus ponds. There are 3 gates at the entrance: according to Confucian thought, the main gate was used by the King, the other two smaller ones used by mandarins, candidates and lower ranking people. This shows respect for the King and humility and patience the other side.
