Each summer vacation, I am taken to the countryside by my parents so as to relax after a hard working term. I really the life here. In rural areas, there are not as many houses and vehicles as in the city. As the result, the atmosphere is quite fresh and cool. Most people mainly travel by bicycle or on foot. The landscape is very poe and picturesque. There are many gardens, rivers here. We can grow vegetables or chickens, fish,... on our own. The local are very kind, generous and friendly. They are willing to give directions to strangers and help each other in difficult times. Whenever we are away, we can relievedly ask our neighbors to keep our houses and children . Another thing that we especially is that in the countryside, we are reconciled to nature so that the soul is always open and the body is healthy. Living in the countryside is fun and wonderful. In the future, I really want to live here.
English is the most common language all over the world. There is no compulsory method to study English, but each person has to find the suitable one to study it efficiently. To me, I read books in English in order to improve both my vocabulary and grammar. Besides, I combine studying and entertaining. In my free time, I often listen to English songs, watch English movies and try to translate the lyrics as well as the subtitle. Furthermore, I join an English club, where I can connect with some international friends, and they are the best teachers to teach me about English. I can learn some slang, idioms, and things that normal teachers do not teach their students. I hope you can find your own ways to learn English.
In my opinion, living in the city or in the countryside also has its own benefits. But I prefer to live in the countryside myself.
First, rural life is more peaceful than urban life. It makes people feel comfortable and comfortable.
Secondly, in the countryside, the atmosphere is very fresh and there are many scenes such as forests, hills, rivers and lakes ... so on the weekend people often go back to the countryside to rest. The people in the countryside are very friendly and hospitable. They always welcome people to come here. They make a living by farming or raising livestock. Poultry. So the food in the countryside is so fresh and fresh
Finally, rural life is peaceful and healthy for every human being.
If someone asks me where I to live, my choice is still peaceful and happy countryside

In the modern life, there is an increase in the people leave the countryside and migrate to the city. The objective reason is that in the city, it brings them comfortable life and favorite job. Subjective causes are due to the following disadvantages rural areas bring about push residents away. To begin with, there is no denial that rural infrastructure is not modern and advanced. Roads are quite narrow and degraded. Schools, hospitals are not cared much and remodeled. Especially the quality teachers and doctors here are just little so the inhabitants have less opportunity to develop in all way than in the urban area. Last but not least, the biggest disadvantage in rural areas is that job opportunities are so race. The main job is craft, farming, which bring a relatively small income. With that salary, we can only live through the day, not afford for services, shopping, entertainment… In conclusion, besides the positive aspects, life in the countryside is very much. disadvantage. We all need to consider carefully before choosing where to live.
There are a lot of changes in my village in the recent years. The roads in the village are now very easy to travel on because they are made with cement and brick instead of dirt like in the past. Many villagers have TV and modern electric devices which help them know more about life in the country and even around the world. We had no TVs before and our knowledge was very little. Now we can watch TV, read newspaper and have more chances to do business with others. We also have the Internet which helps us communicate easily and conveniently. Although this development is basically good, it also has some negative effects. Some factories cause air and water pollution. More entertainment centres have been set up. It makes some young people become lazier and they only want to play, they don't want to study hard anymore. I hope that they won't be addicted to entertainment and will study for the sustainable development of their family and their country.

My hometown has changed more positively. The first change is the clothing style of local people. They are wearing more fashionable clothes with many different modern styles. Secondly, they have a better life with many up-to-date home appliances such as TV, air-conditioned; refrigerator. Thirdly, internet has made a big influence on reading habit. People no longer buy newspaper, magazines. Infrastructure are improved a lot. Schools have more educational equipment and hospitals are bigger and cleaner. More and more roads are made of cement instead of dirt like in the past so it is very easy to travel on.
I like living in the country because with a little money people can get a little house in the country with a garden os one's own. Then in the country I can rest from the noise and hurry of the town. Even thought I have to get up earlier and spend more time on trains or buses, I can sleep well at night, and during weekends and summer evenings, I can enjoy the fresh, clean air of the country. If you likes gardens, you can spend one's free time digging, planting, watering and doing the one hundred and one otherr things that are needed in a garden. Then, when the flowers ang the vegetables come up, you have the reward of one who has shared the secrets of Nature.
Living in the countryside is something that people in the city always dream about. However, in reallity, it also has both positive and negative conquesence.
The first avantage , you can enjoy the peace and quiteless . Moreover, the people in the countryside tend to be friendlier and kinder than in the city. A further avantage is that there is less traffic so it is safer for young children.
In the other hand, the countryside also has many drawbacks of life. First of all, there are fewer people so you will have less friends here. In additionally, entertainment is very difficult to find, specfically in the evening. Furthermore, the fact that there are fewer shops and services so it is harder for young people to find job.
In general, living in the countryside has both advantages and disadvantages. Personal speaking, I think living in the countryside is more relaxing than the city and the benefits accords out weigh the harms. For me, living in the countryside is a best choice for people who is retired or have young children but city is much better for young people because they can find jobs easier than the country.

My parents gave me a trip to Sapa as a present for my effort in the previous school year and the trip was an unforgettable memory to me. My family got there in the morning when the weather was cool but it began to become warmer at noon and in the afternoon but in the evening, the outside was quite cold and even having snow at night. It was such an amazing experience that I really enjoyed it. We also went sightseeing and the natural beauty here took my breath away. The roman and peaceful atmosphere with ranges of mountains surrounded by fog soon made a strong impression on me. I also had an opportunity to try seating on a cable car and enjoyed how breathtaking the view was. That was the first time in my life that I could see mountain, forests and waterfalls with my own eyes. The next day, my mom and I spent time going to the market where many of activities took place and I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my close friend. Especially, I was totally surprised at the ability of speaking English of local residents, especially small children. Besides, I also had a chance to try local food such as Sapa Cap Nach Pork, bamboo sky rice, Tao Meo Wine… Each has its unique flavors that all satisfied my tastes. Finally my family had to say goodbye to Sapa but I still hope to come back here one day in a nearest future.

Life in the city is full of activity. Early in the morning hundreds of people rush out of their homes in the manner ants do when their nest is broken. Soon the streets are full of traffic. Shops and offices open, students flock to their schools and the day's work begins. The city now throb with activity, and it is full of noise. Hundreds of sight-seers, tourists and others visit many places of interest in the city while businessmen from various parts of the world arrive to transact business.
Then towards evening, the offices and day schools begin to close. Many of the shops too close. There is now a rush for buses and other means of transport. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to reach home. As a result of this rush, many accidents occur. One who has not been to the city before finds it hard to move about at this time. Soon, however, there is almost no activity in several parts of the city. These parts are usually the business centres.
With the coming of night, another kind of actịvity begins. The streets are now full of colorful lights. The air is cooler and life becomes more leisurely. People now seek entertainment. Many visit the cinemas, parks and clubs, while others remain indoors to watch television or listen to the radio. Some visit friends and relatives and some spend their time reading books and magazines. Those who are interested in politics discuss the latest political developments. At the same time, hundreds of crimes are committed. Thieves and robbers who wait for the coming of night become active, and misfortune descends upon many. For the greed of a few, many are killed, and some live in constant fear. To bring criminals to justice, the officers of the law are always on the move.
Workers and others who seek advancement in their careers attend educational institutions which are open till late in the night. Hundreds of them sit for various examinations every year. The facilities and opportunities that the people in the city have to further their studies and increase their knowledge of human affairs are indeed many. As a result, the people of the city are usually better informed than those of the village, where even a newspaper is sometimes difficult to get.
The city could, therefore, be described as a place of ceaseless activity. Here, the drama of life is enacted every day

The village has always been known to be a place of peace and quiet. The scattered houses among hundreds of plants and trees at once indicate the lack of activity in the village.
The workers in the village leave their homes early in the morning to work in the plantations or towns nearby. Some have their own plantations, and some make certain articles in their homes to sell them in the towns. A few of the villagers, including women, go out to catch fish in the streams and rivers found in the village. Though the people of the village do not usually earn much, yet they seem to be contented.
In the afternoon, most of the villagers are at home. Some of them take a nap after lunch; some work in their small gardens, and some visit the small shops in the village. In various parts of the village children may be seen playing the popular games of the village. Occasionally, a cyclist passes by.
Then, in the evening, the villagers meet one another. Some play cards and other types of games peculiar to the village. Some talk about the day's incidents in the village, and those whose minds go beyond the village discuss world events.
In almost every village there is a headman whose duty is to settle quarrels among the villagers and maintain peace in the village. Whenever there is a dispute, the villagers go to the headman who is held in such esteem that his word has the force or law. In this way the villagers have developed their own simple laws, and the crimes of cities are almost unknown to the people of the village.
During a festival, the whole village is alive with activities. Everyone is in a happy mood and plays his part to make the festival a success. This is the time for the men, women and children of the village to wear their best clothes and the village is full of colour. These simple ways of life in the village, however, must soon change. Progress in science and education has already begun to affect the outlook of the people in the village, and hundreds are leaving the village to seek their fortunes in the towns and cities.

I was born and raised in the city, so I rarely go to the countryside. Last month, on the occasion of a long holiday, my family went to Ba Tri, Ben Tre to visit my friend's family but it was a long time ago. The trip helped me understand a lot about rural Vietnam. Un the city, the scenery in the countryside is peaceful and fresh. Along both sides of the red dirt road are golden rice fields, stretching to the eye. Sometimes I come across a small village on the side of the road with sparse houses. Perhaps the fertile soil has made the orchards here become incredibly lush and incredibly beautiful. Ba said: "You know, in the olden days of the war, the land of Ba Tri was plowed up by bombs and plows. The most admirable thing was the patriotism and courage of the farmers here. Everyone was real. would rather be naive, but they are determined to keep their homeland. " Listening to his father, I appreciated the land and the tenacious people of Ba Tri.
