My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been passionate about this sport since I was a boy. Growing up, I used to play with my friends after school every hour. We got together on the volleyball court in the school, then split into two teams to play. Every team tries to score points by hitting the ball over the net, and the ball must touch inside the field. If the team bounces off the pitch, the score belongs to the other team. Additionally, each team can get points when their opponent makes a mistake. I can name a few common mistakes when playing this sport such as: the ball hits the outside of the bounds, the ball hits the arm or the net, throws the ball away or catches the ball, … Volleyball’s intentions seem quite complicated, but we still love to play the sport. It has helped me improve and exercise my own health. Besides, it also helps me feel more at ease after every stressful class in class. I love playing volleyball because it gave me a lot of fun and memories with my friends. I hope in the future I can join the competitive school club and win lots of awards. I love volleyball.

Chúng tôi tụ tập ở sân bóng chuyền trong trường, sau đó chia thành hai đội chơi. Đội nào cũng đều cố gắng ghi điểm bằng cách đánh bóng qua lưới, đồng thời trái bóng phải chạm ở trong sân. Nếu như đội đánh bóng ra ngoài sân, điểm sẽ thuộc về đội còn lại. Ngoài ra, mỗi đội đều có thể lấy được điểm khi đối phương mắc lỗi. Tôi có thể kể ra một số lỗi thường gặp khi chơi môn thể thao này như: bóng tiếp đất ở khu vực bên ngoài ranh giới, bóng chạm cánh tay hoặc lưới, ném bóng đi hoặc bắt bóng lại,… Mặc dù quy định của bóng chuyền có vẻ khá phức tạp, thể nhưng chúng tôi vẫn rất thích chơi môn thể thao này. Nó đã giúp tôi nâng cao và rèn luyện được sức khỏe của bản thân. Bên cạnh đó, nó còn giúp tinh thần của tôi trở nên thoải mái hơn sau mỗi giờ học căng thẳng trên lớp. Tôi rất thích chơi bóng chuyền bởi vì nó đã đem lại cho tôi rất nhiều niềm vui, kỉ niệm với bạn bè. Tôi hi vọng trong tương lai tôi có thể tham gia câu lạc bộ thi đấu ở trường và giành thật nhiều giải thưởng. Tôi yêu bóng chuyền.

When it comes to sports, there are a variety of types of interesting sports but the one I love best is badminton. Badminton is a sport in which two or four people hit a shuttlecock (a light object with feathers) over a high net. There are certain rational reasons why I am really into it. Firstly, I am likely to enhance not only my physical health but also my mental health through playing it. In particular, I regularly spend 2 or 3 hours taking part in this physical activity on weekends. Therefore, it makes me feel strong, powerful, unwind and energetic after some stressful lessons at school. The second reason is that it is a great way for me to strike up a friendship. In other words, the more times I play, the more friends I have. We also share a lot of interesting or bad things together when having a break. Last but not least, badminton is not as intense as other sports like basketball or soccer. It means it lessens the possibility of being hurt. In conclusion, badminton is a physical recreation to be worthy of experiencing. We ought to practice it every day to stay healthy.
