Today, it is not easy to choose a career. Hundreds of students pass various examinations every year and compete with one another for positions in the various professions which are not so many as there are applicants. I would, however, like to choose teaching as my career.
Teaching is an interesting career for several reasons. As a teacher I can learn many things, especially if I teach to an udder-secondaryschool. If I teach History or English, for example, I have to read many books to make my teaching lessons more interesting to my pupils. Thus, I can acquire more knowledge of the subjects that I teach than what I can learn from the class text books. It is indeed afact that a teacher learns a lot from the class text books; but that is hardly enough to make the teacher’s lessons interesting to pupils.

The most frightening experience of my life happened 3 years ago. My parents used to go to work until 8 o'clock in the evening and I had to stay at home alone. It was a Sunday evening that someone intended to break into my house. I was having dinner and watching TV. I could not hear anything outside because I focused on an interesting TV program. Someone was trying to break the lock and open the door. Suddenly, I heard something strange and turned off the TV. I felt scared and run into my room. I called my grandfather who lived near my house. He went to my house immediately. When he came, that person had gone. My grandfather called me and I opened the door. He and I waited for my parents. At 8 o'clock, my parents came home. My grandfather told everything to them and asked them not to leave me alone. After that event, I did not dare to stay home alone.
As a freshman in university, I was excited to take on new challenges and explore my interests. However, I soon found myself struggling with a particularly difficult math course. No matter how much I studied or sought help, I couldn't seem to grasp the concepts.
Feeling discouraged, I considered dropping the course. But I didn't want to give up so easily. Instead, I decided to approach the professor for extra help and joined a study group with classmates who were also struggling.
Through hard work and determination, I slowly began to understand the material and improve my grades. It wasn't easy, but the challenge taught me the value of perseverance and seeking help when needed.
In the end, I not only passed the course, but gained a newfound confidence in my ability to overcome obstacles.
My favourite leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that is useful and interesting: it's useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need; it's interesting because the books can give you the joy and help you relax after a day of toil, etc... Especially, when you join in the forum, you can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours, comment on the books or novels that interest you.
I love books and also natural as reading books. When I was ten , I was awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the first book that I have been. I read it many times. Up to now, I still love it and occasionally read it again. My love for books begun.
I usually spend almost of free time choosing book with my friends, participate in dicussion on the forum and reading . Every weekend and all holidays when I have no work to do, I often read books and ruminate on it. I also help some friends select the genres of books that they like.
I always hope that I will have my own library in my future. I love books very much and perhaps, I couldn't live without them.
