My name is Quang, and I am the only son in my family. I am a 4th – year law student, and I am currently studying in Ho Chi Minh City. My little family has four people, and we live in Vinh Long province. The house is always filled with my dad’s laughter, my mother’s warm voice and my sister’s playfulness.
My father is a retired police officer, and he is working as a defense education teacher in our local high school. Perhaps he had to due with years of hard training in the military; my father is finally comfortable to show his humor in the teaching environment. In the first look, he is a tough man; but actually he is very emotional and funny. Dad is a solid pillar and a great spiritual supporter for the whole family.
Un him, my mother is a gentle but strict woman. many other women, my mother always takes care and sacrifices the best things for us. She is both our close friends and tutor in study and some private problems.
My sister is going to be a high school student soon. She is doing very well at school, and she is always rewarded by the school. She starts to look a mature girl, un the little monkey that always sks to me the previous years.
This summer I cannot go home to visit my family and play with my sister because I am about to graduate. I miss them a lot, and I hope that all will be over soon so I can return home and work near my beloved family.

Nhìn bề ngoài, bố là người cứng rắn nhưng bên trọng lại sống rất tình cảm và vui vẻ. Bố là trụ cột vững chắc và là điểm tựa tinh thần lớn lao cho cả gia đình.
Khác với bố, mẹ tôi là người phụ nữ dịu dàng nhưng có phần nghiêm khắc. Như rất nhiều người phụ nữ khác, mẹ tôi luôn quan tâm và hi sinh những điều tốt nhất cho anh em tôi. Với chúng tôi, mẹ vừa là người bạn thân vừa là người dẫn dắt trong học tập và cả những chuyện riêng tư.
Em gái tôi chuẩn bị vào cấp 3. Cô bé học rất giỏi và luôn được nhà trường khen thưởng. Nó đã bắt đầu ra dáng một thiếu nữ chứ không còn như một con khỉ nhỏ luôn bám lấy tôi như những năm trước.
Hè năm nay tôi không về nhà để thăm gia đình và chơi với em gái được vì tôi chuẩn bị tốt nghiệp .Tôi rất nhớ nhà và mong tất cả sẽ sớm kết thúc để tôi có thể trở về quê và làm việc ở gần gia đình thân yêu của tôi.

I feel lucky myself when I was born in a happy family with 4 people. They are my parents, my younger brother and me. My father is 53 years old. He is as a bread-winner in my family so he has to work hard to feed us. Although he is almost busy all day, he usually spends time to teach me and my younger brother many things in life. My mother is a farmer. She is 48 years old. She cooks very well. My family to eat whatever she cooks. She always desire to support us in a well-fed family. When finding somewhere to escape from the hustle and bustle of life, my bedroom is always an ideal place. My bedroom is on the second floor. It is not exactly a large room but it is spacious enough to become my private world. It is a fully-furnished room with a single bed on the left and a wardrobe on the right corner. And there stands a wood table with a shelf that contains many interesting books and is decorated with lots of souvenirs and birthday gifts on the left corner. With two small windows on the two sides of the room, I use bright color tone for the wall to make my bedroom airier and warmer. My childhood memories is coupled with every corner of the room. In my deep thoughts, it is not only a place where greets me after strained long hours at work, brings me sweet dreams but also a friend that witnesses maturity in every step of my daily life. My bedroom- a small room but unintentionally becomes a vital piece in my whole life.

I am living in a apartment with my parents in Hanoi. It is located in the center of Hanoi which you can easily find. The streets are crowded with people but is has a convenient traffic. My apartment looks quite spacious and fresh. To describe my house regarding the design, it is simple as possible as because my parents doesn’t like sophisticated decoration. There is a living room, one kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms in my house.
The living room should be the biggest one where my family welcomes friends or entertains together after a long day. In each room, there is an own unique design with a bathroom is always very clean. I like my kitchen where my family gathers in the evening. To me, my house is a place where I feel the best in the world.

Last traditional Lunar New Year, my family organized a trip to Cambodia, and it was an exciting trip. We did not go by airway; instead we chose to go by long-distance bus. After about 10 hours of sitting in the bus, we finally came to Xa Xia border which was located right next to Ha Tien. It was my first time out of the Vietnamese territory, and the religious atmosphere at Cambodia made me feel very impressed. After crossing the border, we spent about 3 more hours on the bus before reaching a small coastal province called Sihanouk. My parents were tired after a long trip, so they decided to have a rest at the hotel. However, my sister and I spent the entire afternoon wandering in the local markets. We bought a lot of interesting things, and what I most was the delicious durian. The atmosphere there was hotter than Vietnam, so we could only comfortably go sightseeing when the sun completely disappeared. Right in the center of the town is a giant golden lion statue - Sihanouk's symbol, and I noed that almost every major building here has a casino. Early in the next morning we boarded the ship to move to Korong Salem Island, and this was one of the most famous islands in Cambodia. After about 45 minutes on the boat, Korong Island appeared as a paradise beach with white sand and green coconut palms. The water there was crystal clear and as calm as a swimming pool. We spent a whole day swimming and playing along the beach, and we only had lunch when the sun began to shine brightly. The next day we visited some famous pagodas, and the trip ended late at night. Although I had to travel for a long way, but I feel this trip was worth it. Experiencing a new culture in Cambodia is a really exciting thing, and I hope I have opportunity to visit more countries.

On the occasion of the fourteenth birthday, my mother let us go to Sword Lake. A famous beautiful scene.
Today, the clear sky is silhouetted against the lake. Birds took turns singing special songs. She walked smoothly, making everyone feel comfortable. After thirty minutes of bon bon on the road with my dad's motorbike, both my mother and sisters could feel the Sword Lake was right in front of our eyes, Mother and we walked together for a walk around the lake. Then I came here. It's Sunday, so many tourists come here and each one has a unique way of thinking about Sword Lake. Also in the eyes of the children, Hoan Kiem Lake is a giant mirror of Hanoi city. I have heard the story of a grandmother telling the story of King Le Loi returning the sword to the tortoise god Kim Quy. My mother and I chose the best place to see the Turtle Tower. Ancient and majes Turtle Tower stands on the green mound of grass floating in the middle of the lake. Mother said that someone had seen the old lady on the mound and since then everyone considered Turtle Tower to be the palace of the tortoise Kim Quy. Mother also said Turtle Tower is also a witness of our country's history. It has witnessed our country being invaded, has witnessed our country liberated and is now on the rise. It is also the first place to place the red flag with the yellow star of the Democra Republic of Vietnam. Connecting Guom Lake to Ngoc Son Temple is The Huc Bridge, which is curved a shrimp and is also the only bridge painted in the final, sleek red.
