Hello everyone,
My name is Linh, today I will write a blog about my holiday with my friend - Dung - about going around a country which is Singapore.
A few months ago my friend - Dung - and I visited Singapore, one of the most famous cities in Asia.
Singapore, a small island, lies at the southern and of West Malaysia. A long and narrow piece of land joins Singapore with Johore Hahru, the southern-most town of West Malaysia. Singapore is now an independent.
The city of Singapore is extremely beautiful. It is well known for its centres of business and other activities. There are many places of interest such as the Tiger Balm Garden, the Botanical Gardens and Raffles Museum. There are also many important centres of learning such as the University of Singapore, Science Centre, the Nanyang University and the Polytechnic. Being a famous city, hundreds of people come every day from various parts of the world to do business or to enjoy the sights of the city. Singapore therefore has large and beautiful airports and its harbours are full of ships.
There are many night schools where people who cannot go to the day schools for some reason or other can continue their studies. And, the government of Singapore is still doing its best to make further improvements in the city for the benefit of the people.
During my stay in Singapore, I went out every day with Dung to see the beautiful and interesting places and things in the city. One day we went to the Tiger Balm Garden where I saw several statues of people, animals and other strange creature beautifully made and kept. The sea near this garden makes this a pleasant place to visit. We spent almost half of the day at this place.
Another day we visited the museum where I saw hundreds of curious things preserved for scholars and others. It was indeed an education to see all those things. There is so much to learn here that every visit by any person is sure to add to his knowledge.
I also visited some of the harbours and saw the large ships anchored there. The sight of the ships aroused a desire in me to cross the oceans and go round the world. I was indeed deeply impressed by the activities at the harbour.
Then every night, I went round the town and visited some of the parks and other places of interest. The numerous sights and the constant stream of traffic kept the city alive. I visited a few of the cinemas as well. In short, I enjoyed every moment of my stay in this famous city of Singapore

Ví dụ: for a long time, for a month, for a week,…For được dùng để chỉ một khoảng thời gian mà sự việc, sự vật, hành động xảy ra kéo dài liên tiếp trong khoảng thời gian đó. Ngoài ra, for còn được sử dụng trong tất cả để trả lời cho câu hỏi How long …?
Ví dụ: How long have you stayed here? – For a week.Cách dùng Yet
Yet thường được sử dụng trong những câu phủ định và trong các câu hỏi. Yet thể hiện sự chờ đợi của người nói đangcho một sự vật, sự việc nào đó sẽ xảy ra và hay đứng ở cuối câu. Có nghĩa là “chưa”.
Ví dụ:
She’s so smart. Have her missions finished yet? (Cô ấy rất thông minh. Nhiệm vụ của cô ấy đã hoàn thành hết chưa?)
It’s 11 p.m and Jack hasn’t gone to bed yet. (Đã 11 giờ đem mà Jack vẫn chưa đi ngủ)
NOTE: Các từ for, since, already, yet trong tiếng Anh là những dấu hiệu nhận biết cơ bản và đặc trưng nhất của thì hiện tại hoàn thành. Khi trong câu xuất hiện những từ trên đa số chúng ta sẽ chia câu ở thì hiện tại hoàn thành.MIk chỉ biết giải thích như thế thôi nha !

1. I won't take up making models in the future because I think it's a difficult work.
2. People should do more exercise instead of watching TV or playing video games because it makes them feel healthier and happier too. It connects them to people and friends around and makes muscles stronger.
3. To help my community, I want to do volunteer works. I think it's great because I can help people and have fun as at the same time. Some of the works I want to do is planting trees and raise money for sick childen by selling postcard for example.
