Cuc Phuong was Vietnam's first national park and is the country's largest nature reserve. Cúc Phương National Park is located in Ninh Bình Province, in Vietnam's Red River Delta. Cúc Phương is home to an amazing diversity of flora and fauna. There are about 97 species of mammals, 300 species of birds; 36 reptilian species; 17 species of amphibians; 11 species of fish; 2,000 species of vascular plants, and thousands of species of insects in Cuc Phuong National Park. Flora in the park includes a multi-layered canopy; trees up to 70m in height and a variety of flowers. The park also contains plants used for such practicalities as spices and medicines as well as edible fruits, nuts, and shoots. Cuc Phương National Park is an ideal destination for everyone who wants to discover the wildlife.

Phong nha cave is a world heritage site .The full name of that cave is Phong nha ke bang belong to Ke bang mountains in Quang Binh Phong Nha-Ke Bang area is noted for its cave and grotto systems as it is composed of 300 caves and grottos, of which only 20 have been surveyed by Vietnamese and British scientists; 17 of these are in located in the Phong Nha area and three in the Ke Bang area. Phong Nha holds several world cave records, as it has the longest underground river, as well as the largest caverns and passageways. The park derives it name from Phong Nha cave, the most beautiful of all, containing many fascinating rock formations, and Ke Bang forest. The plateau on which the park is situated is probably one of the finest and most distinctive examples of a complex karst landform in Southeast Asia.
