My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place.
My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.
She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. When she misses school I too help her with all that has been covered at school. We also play badminton together in the evenings.

My bedroom is the most comfortable place in my house. It becomes my favorite room since I lived in this house five years ago. Actually it is not too large, the width is just 4 x 4 meters, but it is clean enough. It looks like a small cottage with a bed placed in the corner of this room. The color of the bed cover is pink, so soft and calm. On this bed, there are a pillow, a bolster, and 15 cute dolls that always accompany me when I am sleeping. It looks like a carving in the great temple. If you see around my bedroom, you will find a colorful wall. It is combination of attractive colors like pink, violet and blue. The colors are mixed perfectly and it shows the girlie room. It is also completed with some artificial flowers near the window that decorate my room beautifully. I like to spend my time in this room. For me my bedroom is my little palace.
My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.
I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks like older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

Ingredients:
- 180 g beef steak
- 100g butter
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp choppep pasley
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Trim the steak nicely, season with salt and pepper.
